Levi... I REALLY think you should continue this format of curating an introduction and showing your face, sharing the impact these guitarists have and why you choose these specific clips. To grow your channel and make it unique. Just from the variety of guitarists you exhibit on the channel it is startling to me how exactly similar our tastes are haha. Thank you for doing this!

i disagree, its bothering me tbh. but not too bad sicne its easy to skip. but you cant queue them up anymore and watch guitar clips in a row with friends. at least not from this channel. On another note, which good reason is there to only include names about the player in a spoken introduction but dont put them in the DESCRIPTION or TITLE? :S clickbait doesnt quite fit, but it sure is some sort of bait
@callmedeaconbooze2 жыл бұрын
No, I disagree, I really enjoy these brief intros. This is a wonderful channel with great content and surely a lot of work that goes into it, so Im glad that you can experience the creator himself, it feels more personal somehow and its like watching a youtuber that you come to know over time, instead of some random dry content. I really like the info that is provided, its brief but a useful background that i usually dont have. Keep up the good work

The amount of power and distortion they were experimenting with back then, including scooping every fret, made it so as long as your left hand knew the motions your right hand barely did anything at all. Lot of sloppy playing came out of that era, which was refined and honed into the almost mechanical-levels of prodigy we have today. The ones who always had good technique are the ones still playing today- and he's no exception.
@eduort88222 жыл бұрын

@Aces High You're totally right. Its why I still check on Paul Gilbert every couple years to see what he's up to because he's always slowing down, trying new genre's, getting back into singing despite 15+ years of tinnitus, etc.. Whereas I cannot recall the last time I looked up any of the 1980's shredder's that inspired me to pick up the guitar as a teenager. God, I think it's been 10+ years since I went out of my way to watch Malmsteen jerk himself off.

I never heard he went to a music school or had a music teacher, there's a lot of mistery around his music éducation (or maybe I didn't found the right information).

IMHO Ritchie was the greatest sweeper. Michael Romeo's sweeps (which I just watched in another of your vids) are fast but tight, so they are playable; RItchie does 2 string sweeps over stretches of 9-10 frets--they're insane, almost physically impossible to play.
