Mine wanted to play with my yoga pants so I walked away from him and the more I walked away he chased me, so I gently swatted my hand down to shoo him away before he latched on, but he took that opportunity to latch onto my arm instead. To make a long story short, I now have scars on my right arm 😭

But if she catches on to the fact that slapping in the head/face is a good way to "correct" unwanted actions (because Puma are extremely intelligent animals just as wolves are) than this slapping technique is gonna wind up with someone's face being taken off. There's the risk always for sure with any animal. I had a bobcat growing up and we ruff housed all the time and luckily he always knew to not get to ruff. Now the 2 year old cat i got now is a sweet heart but she does not know how to ruff house she will mess me up when we play. If she was a big cat I would not be able to play with her like I do.

@@tazboi81 a well known and very big difference between a 'big' dog and 'wild cat' is that a dog is WAY more trusting than a 'wild cat', or ANY cat. A feline hunts/kill for food for survival. It's a very strong chracter trait even in domestic cats.

For everyone complaining, it’s completely normal. It’s how cats (and probably applies to ‘big’ cats too) learn - when they’re young and they’re playing, they won’t know if something hurts and may thing it’s fun / loving, unless another cat does it back to them - they can then regulate their behaviour (eg soften etc)
