I just did my top end and I had the same exact coloration all over my piston and cylinder but the parts looked perfect and no wear on anything. I'd say no as well. Just buy a ultrasonic cleaner big enough for your carb from harbor freight cheap and a bottle of pine sol. Use STRAIGHT PINE SOL NO WATER in the cleaner (the instructions will tell you u not too....it's fine...it's been done plenty). Throw your carb in there minus gaskets and It'll come out looking and working like new, and it's so easy a kid could do it. You can rinse with water after if you want but most just hang carb n let drip dry. Reinstall float n gaskets n hoses and your good to go. Cheap simple and you'll have the cleaner for life. Much love.

@@BeRAD u felt a power increase with the mx dome?
@BeRAD2 жыл бұрын
@@TheAyoubh from stock? Yes. Also from the XC. You get more torque on bottom with higher compression, but less over Rev. That’s why the SX isn’t always great. Extremely snappy down low but kills a lot of top end. MX I’ve found to be the best compromise. XC is still great, it just doesn’t give me the lug ability that I want. More compression means more force on the crank which is more torque.
