I swear to god if someone else tells me I need hand guards as if I have no idea what they are 🤣….sorry for riding my bike without it being totally set up for the season yet. On that note, I can’t stand full wraps anymore. They just get mangled doing hard enduro stuff. Flags for the win! I just don’t have any at this moment. Maybe we can focus on discussing the riding in the video which was the purpose of posting this 😊.

hey , I got the same bike and I'm in love with it and other guys soon they get the yz’s they throw a heavy flywheel so I never saw you talk about why ,you don’t think it need it? .

BeRad I'm confused... I thought you liked the XC head for lugability and now you're using the MX head ? Isn't the MX head more for wide open uses like on the track ?

Great ride, that track looks awesome! I have a very similar trail loop where I ride, it's 4.5 miles per lap. But I've never tried it on a 250, I ride a 125 and for me at least it's the perfect size for this type of stuff, so light!

How big of a difference is the transmission on the YZ250x vs YZ250? Can you really tell much of a difference? Especially at higher speeds

Hey BeRAD i love your vids i ask why you haven't invested in some bark busters for the yz250x and i ride a sherco se125r its an amazing bike to ride and i have some bark busters installed and they have saved my hands sooo many times

Hey, I'm looking for a 2 strokes enduro bike and I wonder if the YZ250X would be a good choice. I'm also looking at KTM, GasGas and Sherco but they are easily 4k $ more expensive. They sure have more (speedometer, front/back lights, injection for KTM/Gasgas, etc), but I wonder if it's worth the 4k$ if the yam works well in the trails. I want simple mechanic and a lot of FUN in the trails. 😁

100% go yz. I have a 22 XCW 300 also that required $1600 in suspension work to make it compare to my Yz STOCK. The xcw os great now but I still always have more fun on my YZ especially for just trail riding.

For this type of trail the 125 is a lot more fun to ride. Generally speaking the 125 is. But the 300 is more “practical”.

@@BeRAD Gotcha, I’ve got a yz250fx so I think I’m fine on the “practical” part. Though I’ve never actually ridden a 2 stroke.. just don’t want to get something too underpowered for the different types of riding that I do.

I myself was curious why you don’t have bark busters on your bike I also I am curious do you run a flywheel weight I just recently purchased a 22 YZ 250 X and I am seriously considering purchasing the cykra pro bend bark busters and I am going to also order a skid plate and disc guards where I live there is a lot of rocks Missouri if you’ve ever rode here you understand just curious if anybody has any suggestions on discgaurds ,fly wheel weights,and bark busters,skid plate and linkage gaurd I literally only put about 30 minutes on it because I want to wait for my hourmeter to come in and before I hit the woods I want to make sure that I have all the guards and such to protect my bike the best I can I am 41 years old and hopefully this will be my last new bike I have rode a CR 500 for the past 20 years and loved it she would lug everywhere that’s why I was curious about the fly wheel weight Will it help the 250 X lug I like to ride a gear hi I find that I am much faster when I’m lugging And much more in control if anyone can relate please respond thanks and God bless all happy Easter

I do not run a FWW. Just personal preference. A FWW will not make a bike lug better necessarily, it just makes it harder to stall at low rpm. But it’s not going to add power. In fact, it actually in theory reduces power output since you’re adding mass. Be sure to check out the SXS skidplates on my website as well as the bulletproof designs disc guards! I keep them in stock 😊

If you like riding a gear higher then definitely get the apex head with MX dome. You will be blown away at how much extra torque it gives you. Of course, the most ideal setup is the whole freight train kit!

Hey man!!! I rlly need help.. I have an lectron carb and it’s been 3hours that I’m working on it and I’m not able to adjust it right.. I blew up a plug and the last time it was running, it was running too fast at idle and when I gave a bit of gaz it will rev super high.. I watched your videos about adjusting it about 10times.. I have a 2018 250x with a lectron H series

Check for air leaks, make sure choke isn’t turned on. Make sure you have throttle cable freeplay. If all that fails, richen the metering rod 1/2 turn.

@@jamesandjimmy246stevenson3 no I've try a lot of different ones tusk acerbic cycra and then best ones I've used and still use are the open ended enduro engineering ones that mount to the clutch and brake perch. Almost as strong as full wraps but without the downsides. Sorry for the paragraph lol.

I’m not Brad but I own a 300xc and ridden 125’s multiple times. I’m heavier than average at 215. I personally would take the 300 90% of time time
