Depending on the circumstances thats actually understandable. A person who has trust issues with someone like that would be very good for them but could also leave the person having a hard time trusting feeling guilty all the time. If both people are not happy, regardless of if logic dictates they should be, then ending the relationship isnt that strange. Also, no one owes anyone a relationship until marriage. Breaking up is always acceptable for no reason. Cheating on the other hand is the wrong way to handle it. Breaking up will always do less damage than cheating.
