I live in Flat Rock about a mile from your previous church. We've gone there a few times for a hot meal what a blessing it was. The devastation here is unimaginable. We've been trying to help others as much as we can. We just got power/ water back still no internet and cell service is spotty. We've helped a bit at the other Upward church but I feel like the mental toll this is taking is more than I can bear at times. Please continue 🙏 prayers, this is going to be a long road and I feel like we'll all soon be forgotten. Praying for all enduring this storm as well as Milton ❤

I volunteered with Samaritans Purse after a tornado and also Red Cross after Hurricane Irma and it was such an incredible blessing for me to help all those people and pets in need. I have bad knees and surgery coming up so can’t volunteer that way now but I can give and send supplies. If you are able, please volunteer in one way or another. After I am fixed, I will continue to volunteer physically as I feel that God wants me to do that. I was a social worker for 35 years and that calling is still inside me. You will truly be blessed by anything you can do to help fellow friends in need. I pray for everyone that needs help.

God Bless you for the help you've given...best wishes with your upcoming surgery! I survived hurricane Irma! What an experience! I was housesitting for my sister and we had to evac with her cat!...I didn't know my way around the city and ended up in a school two towns away; barely found my way back after the storm but luckily my sister's home did not get major damage! God heard my prayers. If you're still in the area be safe during Milton! Keep the Faith, Always, Hope🙏

Amy I pray you have already evacuated. My husband saw on the news from Tampa to Tallahassee normally takes 4 hrs but it’s taking 12 hrs and still not there. Amy any bean can be ground into espresso but the darker the roast on the beans can contribute to the flavor of the espresso. Starbucks just markets those beans so more people buy them who don’t know this.

It's all so sad. I saw an interview with a woman who was stuck in her house with her husband and little dog when the house was swept down the river. Her husband couldn't get out and the house started to break apart she jumped off the porch and was rescued but she had to watch her little dog bobbing in the water trying to swim to her but sadly didn't make it and she watched her dog go under and not come back up. It was heartbreaking

We were in Hendersonville that Wednesday meeting some friends and picking up our girls from a youth activity and the next day saw on the news the very roads we were on all washed away. They were flooded that Thursday before the hurricane even came through.My heart is broken too.

Hi Amy yes, you can use any bean to make Espresso. The only thing that makes an espresso an espresso is that it us brewed using an espresso machine.
