I was praying for NC as well. My daughter moved there two years ago and thankfully their new home and family were ok. So much devastation. Hoping all who were affected will be well soon!!

The devastation in North Carolina has absolutely broke my heart. I thought about you and I was so thankful that you moved out of that area. Watching Rachel Ray She would put open cans tomato paste smashed flat in freezer bags. Freeze,then when you need it just break off frozen what you need. I do this with Chipotle In Adobe also. With the frozen veggies. You can just hit on counter and it will break apart.👍 waste not want not.

That chopper was awesome. I was very impressed with the dicing. I too had that problem with it being mush with other machines, but this one looks so nice. I am sure my MIL would love that. Amy just a suggestion; you can use a small ice cream scoop to make garlic pucks on a cookie sheet and freeze them, once frozen put them in a baggie. I learned that from Becky on acre homestead

Three Rivers Homestead freezes her ground up garlic in an ice cube tray or super cubes tray, takes them out once they're frozen, and puts them in a gallon zip bag. The oil let's them slip right out.

The beginning of every month I buy a big bag of onions, garlic, peppers, etc. Cut them up and put the onions in small snack baggies and then put all the smaller baggie into a much bigger baggie. It helps contain the smell and odor. Keep up the great work. ❤

Hello Amy, thinking of you all and praying for you all as Hurricane Milton has formed. I am not sure if you are in the path but wanted to let you know you have many I am sure praying for you all and for those in your NC home area that you know have experienced so much. I live up in the panhandle on the Alabama border. We have gone through several hurricanes but nothing like what has happened with Helene. Please do let us know how you all are doing and if you are safe. I found your channel during Covid when everything went on lockdown and even thought our children are grown, I appreciated your approach on life. I use to try to stay at home and not run all the time, but as children grow a new season can change that but oh the memories of being with them while we have the privilege to be with them. I don’t usually comment to often not because I don’t want to be more supportive but it’s funny because I watch you each day I feel as though we are friends and we have never met. I am thankful for someone who desires to proclaim the love for Christ and encourage others in any way you can. I am sorry that there are those that comment with hurtful comments. I do not understand the purpose of it. If I watch something and it’s not for me, I just move on. Anyway, during a very difficult season in my life it was so refreshing to watch your channel and hear someone speak truth and love. We all need it. Sometimes it’s hard to hear when we don’t want to keep going but once we let Him in, hearing someone encourage others in Christ is powerful and inspirational! I pray that all of your family is safe and well and that you all will be safe. Thank you for all that you do and for all that your family has done especially during Covid. They shared everyday life when times were lonely and hard and that was a very incredible thing. I trust they each are doing well. Take Care and we look forward to hearing from you!

I live 30 minutes from Perry FL and I used to live were you now❤ the bad thing here is there just not used to all these storms were in your area that you are now they are used to it and they get back up and running quickly but where I'm at now that we're on our third major storm is getting a lot better❤❤ I have been praying for NC it is so sad 🙏🙏🙏

Jayden, great job! It was so wonderful to see you! Amy, great job too! I forgot how quickly dishes pile up with kids at home. I definitely remember lots of cooking and baking! My oldest had moved back home for a while, but has just recently moved back out. Grateful he is still nearby. I definitely miss the days when the house was so full of boys and their friends. I will always wish my parents were still alive and nearby. The house is definitely more quiet, but we keep busy. Wishing everyone a beautiful and blessed rest of the day and week ahead! Now Milton but God! It just has this Mom and Grandma’s heart praying for my little family! My daughter says they are not in a flood zone or in the hurricane evacuation zone! She says it is far away but look at North Carolina! I must say I believe we are in a war of good versed evil! I’ve seen documents that show patents for modifying the weather! Whenever you chop any vegetable for freezing try flash freezing them on tray first then jar or bag them and freeze them

for the garlic, I don't use oil ever, just the garlic minced. I then use a cookie scoop and freeze them in little pucks. Once frozen I take them off the cookie sheet and throw them in a freezer bag. When I need garlic, i just grab a puck and add it to whatever I am cooking. Works wonderfully.

Acre Homestead shows freezing the garlic on a cookie tray in cookie scoop size. Then, once frozen, put in a freezer bag for later use. Make sure to double bag to keep the smell/taste off near foods.

My youngest now 53 had the same when he was a little chap. I can remember not having the courage to go in with him and Mum took him in clutching his little teddy. It broke my heart and I know just how you are feeling. I will tell you, he came out all smiles with a ice lolly the dentist had given him. So keep your chin up. I will pray for your little one.
