The response in my house is "pretty good", with no emotion. But good to know I'm human! And challenge accepted! I've been trying lately to say "tell me about your day" instead of a one-word answered question. Seems to work better!

My wife tried these techniques on me and it didn't make me open up in the slightest. For example as far as I'm concerned work is work and home is home and therefore I refuse to discuss my work ever. My work life stops at the inside of my office's front door when I finish for the day and head home. I also have never discuss anything about my personal life...I'm there to work and not chit chat about my life outside the office.
