I’ve been inspired by Goggins for two years now, since I was 15, and every day has been a journey of improvement. His life story shows that he didn’t just overcome challenges-he actively sought out the things he feared and resisted. He taught me that real growth happens when you push past laziness and fear. To anyone reading this, take the first step today. Every day, aim to be 1% better than yesterday.
@samoilmateialexandru11 ай бұрын
ive been motivated by Goggins to become a better version of myself for 2 years now, since 15. Yet there's so much I didn't know about his story life. The guy lived it all. And he has an amazing life because he did everything he didn't want to do and was scared of, he got after it every single day. Your blessings lay beyond your fears and laziness. So everybody who is reading this. get after it every day. Be 1% better today than you were yesterday. Stay hard.

@samoilmateialexandru11 ай бұрын
@@unspecialist this makes no sense. Having a dad and aspiring to have the mentality of David Goggins are 2 different things. My dad has taught me how to repair sockets and fix wires, even though he isn't an electrician. It's something every man should know. But there are things your dad might not do, which can be beneficial for your improvement, hate Goggins or not, he knows better than 99% of population what real struggle is, give him any struggle in any domain, he'll find a way out of it. It's the mentality of always improving that is the foundation of everything we are as a person. We as a SOCIETY want to improve everyday, but there's one thing that blocks many of us from achieving more, and it's not the time, or the power, or the lack of money, or lack of friends and relationships, no. It's ourselves. No matter how hard we try to find excuses for things that don't work out, deep down we know it's because of us we didn't achieve this or that. If you conquer your mind, which sets barriers so as to not achieve our potential, then you'll become unstoppable. The body never gives up first, the mind does. The only time when body gives up first is when you die. And we as men the only thing we truly want in life is peace of mind, and only through hard work you can achieve it, that's why many praise David, because he could be chilling on a cruise with women and cars and millions of dollars in his bank accounts, but he chose a simple life struggling every day to motivate people who are lost in life like he was. Good luck in the new year brother

I went back to college to get my bachelor's degree at 49. I imagined the day of graduation as this life changing moment where I was free of past failures. I was wrong. The past failure was erased during the grind of completing classes. The feeling of accomplishment was doing well in a stats class (very tough for me). The journey was the reward. The end was just that - then end. Started my MBA journey two weeks ago- I am going to finish it. No idea what comes next so I am going to enjoy the grind of the challenge. STAY HARD!

I still make plenty of excuses, and I find myself in a particularly low moment now. Realizing there is still a bottom, and I can still loose, as I have. My father died when I was kid. Since then, my mother worked very hard to educate me. I am an undergraduate now. But my friends reject me most of the time. I don't know the reason. The others in my college don't care about me. I feel lonely because of this. Is this happening to me because I am poor / because I have too many good qualities? I want to rise as a man. But I don't have the courage for that.🥺

You have the courage. You also need to remember / know that 80% of your class feels the same way. Even the ones who appear to be the happiest with the most friends. Loneliness is a common human condition. It is can also be cured. You will find someone in your life who will cure that loneliness for you. The other comment is right in my opinion. Most people feel the same way, and it's the image they portrait that is misleading. Focus on you and less about what other people think of you. Easy to say I know but give less time to thinking about it and get going with working out, thinking about your exciting future and start working out how to make it happen. Also, accept that things happen gradually, but with intent, you'll get there.
@OnsKleinGezinnetje9 ай бұрын
Make no assumptions about how other people see you. If they care. Perhaps you intimidate them, you don’t know. Plan your own route through life, anybody’s opinion is just that, their opinion. Nothing to you, unless you decide to put value on other people’s opinions.
