No problem with waiting at all. Why would you want to risk your sanity, body with possible STDs and pregnancy when your not ready! Currently in my early 20s and have not been in a relationship. Not inviting souls into the bed before marriage. Jesus makes it clear that following him is the narrow way as proved by these comments, even by lukewarm Christians. We've typically been given very strict rules about who is marriageable, then I meet Christian women who married guys when they weren't believers and tell me that God sent them their spouses.. who eventually got saved.

Native Hebrew speaker here - what the Ladies mentioned about the word "Yadah" is TRUE!!! In Hebrew we have the word yadah (know) and another word that's also "know" but it's used specifically. For example, when I was a young teen I was told to not use the word "yadah" in order to say "I know him (a man)" because it was the same as saying "I SLEPT with him". So, we have another word for knowing someone (as in a casual oh yeah, I know him or of him or her) and that's "Mekir" (for male) and "Mekira" (for female). I'm saying all this to say that the word yadah is serious and it's not taken lightly and so everything the Ladies shared is VERY spot on in regards to that! It's to the point where you would *never* hear a native Hebrew speaker say "I yadah him" ect (in Hebrew)

It's cutesy cutesy when you advise 20 somethings about this and they're only waiting a handful of years, but when women are in their 40s, '50s, '60s and '70s and they've been waiting through their decades and into menopause, it's cruel and it changes your emotions and psychological health just to cope. I'm almost 50 and I have to detach just to maintain my psychological health. I wish there was more older women to speak to this later seasons of singleness instead of video after video of women in their twenties or early thirties talking about "suffering" 🙄 singleness in their high school and college years.
