I don't really see why you took a year lease in Pattaya. You really don't seem to like it at all. You don't need it for the visa (like the money in the bank etc. your agent could have fixed that). I'd walk if I were you, hit the road. Month here, month there until you find somewhere you want to actually base yourself. Make for better content too.

I love Lazada too, they have everything and prices are great! If you want to go to an island not far from Pattaya, maybe you can check out Koh Mun Nork. It's a private island so there's only one hotel there but very serene and quiet. I think most of their clients are Thais though which might be refreshing for a change.

I definitely recommend koh Chang and you can take your vehicle. We go every year, we love it! Never get bored of that amazing island. We love the water falls too! So much to do! Not too far from Pattaya too! The roads arent for the faint hearted though! The twists, turns and hills

Great island , you can even go there for the day from Pattaya, just 30 Bhat on the ferry and like another world from Pattaya within 20 mins 😂fantastic. Will probably pop over there ourselves when we arrive next week.

Maya Bay m8ty, was there few days ago, first went 2005, no drones no swimming, the film the beach ruined the eco system they planted trees etc, took around 3 years to get it back to normal, phi phi is over crowded and they have ruined it with tourists, I went to see what had changed since 2005, very sad to see what has changed

I didn't know they allowed vehicles over ? Its very small , less to do than samet . Koh Chang is better for exploring. Head to Hua Hin for 7 nights . There are lots of places to explore on that coastline. Pattaya is boring unless you are into mongering .

Darren I had a few ideas for the channel: 1. How about filming some of your interactions with the locals, maybe even using some Thai words 2. Interview some ExPats like that 'every Man has a story' channel 3. Do a live Q&A with your audience 4. Lean in to you David Brentisms - maybe do a song intermission, even take viewer requests Keen to not see your views dropping too much and you making your content more interesting. Some incredible islands around. Went to Phi Phi back in the late 90s Bit commercialised but still an amazing place. Stayed right on the beach front in one of those villas. Unfortunately was hit by the tsunami but recovered well 🏖️
