Here's what I think, Pear Butter died from child birth after Applebloom and Bright Mac either died from some freak accident or maybe he committed suicide but the second option is a very dark theory for My Little Pony. I also like to believe that no matter how torn up Bright Mac was about Pear's death he would've tried to be there for the kids. Maybe Bright Mac was eaten by Timber Wolves, or yeah the Chimera but idk, it's a mystery for sure.

Whether dead, alive or whatever did happen to them, it IS confirmed that Applejack's parents didn't succumb to whatever did happen to them until sometime between Apple Bloom's birth and the day Twilight came to Ponnyville. While I think that the theory that Pear Butter and Bright Mac died might be true, what happened to them is DEFINETLY one of the biggest unanswered questions of "Friendship is Magic."

I'm not usually one to write MLP fanfictions, but I have one where Applejack's parents died of horse related diseases like hay fever. Them getting lost or eaten by monsters is a possibility but dying by disease makes it more relatable to many people. An extra twist in my version is that one day, a psychic pony claims he can speak to dead ponies and creatures who reside in Elysium (Heaven)...but Applejack is very skeptical. The themes are having faith, opening one's mind, dealing with the pain of loss and cherishing the family you have...death issues specifically not addressed but it should've because "it's a kids' show."

That did not happen. From what I heard in the comment section of this video, fans claim that the timber wolves incident was a fan-fiction or video. We don't know what really happened to AJ's parents, because it never has been mentioned or revealed on the show and I am 100% sure of that, period.

Fun fact, their actually was going to be an episode that explained why AJ's parents were gone. From what i recall Dr. Wolf made a video explaining this, though its been a while, the only thing i remember was it had to deal with a satyr, a curse regarding big mac and somepony turning into a tree, with the other going crazy. The show though was never made, but the premise was there.

Lauren Faust had previously mentioned that the whereabouts of applejacke's mom and dad has not been planned . and the show was unlikely to mention that they are passed away . also Lauren left show after the season 2 so she never create the parents of applejacke which we saw in season 7 . man i feel nostalgic because i quit mlp long time a go and i also forgotten some few names of some main ponies of mlp . it's good look back at our childhood show

I have a thing I always had in the back of my mind, A new pony character with his own story Shadow is his name Shadow had a family trait that makes him live for 1,000 years before " silence" He went out to the Equestrian Civil War which was kept secret by princess Cylestia He was a unicorn so he woulduse he horn to created a huge shield protecting everyone in it He met a female horse and fell in love In the civil war no one died, just who ever took the most injury He was in a battle when an unicorn accidentally teleported the female to another dimension In anger, Shadow inflicted heavy damage but the other side did nothing They were shocked on what they had done and ended the war Cylestia hated war so she tried to keep everyone quiet But Shadow claimed that it should be remembered as something horrible Cylstia then banished him from ponyville ( where he lived) and live in the outlands There he met bandits who he trained to help him with things he needed and took care of them Shadow learned sciences and took shelter in a ruined temple There is a garden that Shadow planted a plum tree seed that fell out of the female purse before she disappeared He loves the tree and spends time by it and reading it stories he learned spells in the ruins like earthquake and regeneration He occasionally visited ponyville hospitals secretly and heal them at his ruins and then bring them back He forgave princess Cylestia for banishing him away, just not in person I said this to possible tie into new pony stories and even help applejack learn moire about her parents and I have good ideas for it

Applejacks parents died after they were crossing a bridge because it was too sturdy and she tried to hold the Rope to the bridge but she couldn't and it crashed and they both died it's all right now of her parents

All I know of the video is when Rarity was crossing the bridge but one of the ropes snapped and Applejack's parents saw what was going on and went to rescue her when the dad climbed on the bridge and grabbed Rarity trying to save her from death so the other rope snapped and the mom was holding the last rope to keep then from falling in Applejack was watching the whole thing and since she was really young she couldn't really do anything so the Rope was about to snap but the dad tossed Rarity right next to Applejack to safety and the parents both fell to their death
