On one hand, I wouldn't be surprised that happened given Lucas giving Mace a purple lightsaber because Samuel Jackson wanted one in order to make his character stand out. On the other hand, they had shown in Phantom Menace and in the special editions of the Original Trilogy that their CGI is decent enough that they could have made the edit to give him Sith Eyes. Even if some of the older fans do... Disagree with some of the changes made by the special editions, like how the outdoor area of Mos Eisley is more crowded than it was in the original, or Jabba appearing himself in A New Hope rather than just being talked about... Or for a more infamous example of unpopular edits, who shot first between Han and Greedo.

Palpatine could not hide himself after his duel versus Mace Windu. Darth Maul was always in a state of extreme hatred. Count Dooku was corrupted by the Darkside. Yet not fully. Like the video said. He had moments whereas he lost control, in those moments Dooku would fully tap into the Darkside, in the clone wars series, but that rarely ever happened. Anakin Skywalker would fully embrace the Darkside. However when those moments were over, he regained sum control over himself. With Anakin & Dooku, they always had the ability to fully engage in the Darkside & disengage from the highest level of the Darkside. Darth Maul had Sith color eyes do to his alien species. When Maul engaged into the higher levels of the Darkside, his eyes did not change colors bcuz it was already the natural color of the Sith eyes. It’s like somebody born into a Super Saiyan state, they were naturally born with blonde hair & green eyes. I could be wrong, but that’s how I see it.

Sidious envisioned himself as the Eternal Emporer of the Sith with Maul as his apprentice that would destroy the Jedi, Darth Plagueis found out about Maul and told Sidious that there was only ever 2 Sith. Sdious was ready to kill both his Master and his apprentice to be Talzin, for Maul. Maul was a incredible dark side adept at a young age, he could kill non force sensitives just by looking at them.

The one thing i thought the Clone Wars made worse was making Dooku more of a sith. I really liked the idea that he was much more focused on the leadership of the CIS then he was on being a sith, bowing to Palpatine because he knew it would help them, but due to their age, seeing them more as partners right up until he's betrayed by him. It would explain the "heroes on both sides" line, and Im still bummed theres no real case of the Dark side being used for good, like the light side can be used for evil.

@Zachlindenberg4 Count Dooku is a dark side user, has a Sith title, is an apprentice to a Sith, and has his own dark side(sith) apprentice. I don't know, seems like he's a Sith. Next you're going to say he's a political idealist, but not a murderer.

Dooku is not an emotive character precisely because he was a jedi before. He left the Jedi order, but his training, especially teaching of emotional detachment is something I don't think he has forgotten completely.

The count doesn’t need his anger , because as a former Jedi he knows his skills and power are enough to handle any situation . Dooku's personality is always measured, both in his mentality and in his combat style, he does not fall into excesses or vulgarities.

Honestly, I'm disappointed that they made him tap into the dark side at all; it would have been so much more interesting of a story if he were objectively a good guy who happens to oppose the Council's unthinking support of the Republic. In this version, he would never actually use the Dark Side, so that a latter examination would make people question how much of a bad guy he really was.

​@@robertrose3777 I don't even think he's that; Grey Jedi, from what I understand, do use the Dark Side (because balance), so that's about what he was in Canon. What I'm talking about would have made him a _True_ Jedi, to a greater extent than the Council. Jedi are dedicated to protection of life, justice, and peace, right? The Jedi Council (as an organization) had forsaken protection of life & justice in favor of putting down (just) rebellion. On the other hand, (my version of) Dooku was inciting/supporting rebellion to advance Life and Justice.

So his base Force proficiency was so high he generally didn’t need the Dark Side as a booster? And he’s more of a cold burn than a hot one. So he could have dual-class, like Mace? He kinda was anyway. (And I think Yoda knew enough to dual class, but chose not to.)

Count dooku was more of a grey Jedi than a full on sith as he still had morals, he only stopped being a Jedi because he didn’t like what they where doing sure he killed a lot of people but if you look at what said people did you would see they kinda deserved it, in fact he straight up wanted to kill palpatine, and in the comics he is shown to spare people constantly only killing if he felt necessary
