Let's start a new trend KK. Let's call out a lake before we go to it 24 hours prior in a 60 second short reporting our goals & then show how we did.. I really think the Crappie World needs it. People think LiveScope is automatic. They think every trip is a Limit. They think catching Crappie when they are in different modes of Post Spawn, Pre Spawn, Transition, Stagging, or seasonal habits is easy. Fish have a mind of their own & so does the weather. It can be a challenge. I actually love seeing videos like this because I fish a lot & know a double digit day is a good day on the lake with 20 keeper filets. I want to learn Lavon & I'm going to see if it skunks me tomorrow.

Great video kid!!! I love your honesty. I learn so much from guys who say where they are and what they’re doing!!! I live in Houston area. Conroe and limestone are my 2 lakes. I’m not gonna jump in my truck and drive up to fish your holes even if I knew where they were. They may not even hold fish right now. But I know from where you are and what conditions your fishing what to expect on my lakes. I will not watch a video if I don’t know where the man is fishing!!! It doesn’t help me all. And I’m gonna watch a guy catch fish if I can’t learn something. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

I appreciate the kind words! I try to name as much as I can but it gets to a certain point to where it hurts me and I am sending people to these places. Used to shoot docks for years at CC and we'd use 4'7-5' rods. We had very little success with longer rods. From what I saw many of those were shootable back in the day. Just a suggestion. Good luck going forward.

I used to shoot with a shorter rod back in the day but found I get more distance with a 7 fter. The issues was how the dock was setup and the floats/lift was in the way. Thanks for commenting 👍🏼

That’s where me and my son fish! There’s a few good spots I’ve found but I’ve never had much success on docks there. Come back out on a kayak maybe we’ll see ya.

What is the white pvc thing that you use like a hand controled trolling motor ?

I went out to my spawn spot today in layovers in 7ft in coves and they were packed in there it has had 1 fish in it for days now it was fun hour after work sesh, this cold weather is going to mess them up again probably 🤦‍♂

Eagle Mountain lake is a Dock shooting lake. I always fish there.

Ernest Paty once told me to get to those hard to reach crappie under floating docks you need to get a 12 or 14 ft rod stick them under the dock and jerk the line instead of using the rod to set the hook😊 Might be worth a shot

@@KidKrappie there are days I'll go out for 8 hours and catch maybe 2 or nothing at all during the spawn. I would be in some thick juicy stuff that you would think would hold fish but nope lol so it'll be nice to know I'm not the only one.

@@Bandit_X that’s how the spawn is. Super hit or miss. Limit out one day and go back they are gone. Post spawn is way more consistent for sure
