Children are your future. You have to invest in them. It is not the money, it is the time that needs to invested in your children. If you don't, then be prepared for a painful old age when you will regret. Your house, your new car, your bank balance and huge investment in stocks, or else will not help you buy back the generation lost. Your few years of glamour, if at all, will be a nightmare then. No matter what you pretend then, your hearts would be miserably sad. Wake up. Professor Lang is giving you a wake-up call. A lost identity for your children can still be avoided. Live a simple life , bring down your expences and spare some hours for your children. Migrate if you can't manage it. You know you will not die of hunger.

They are too busy with distractions, Their parents work long hours, then buy their children video games and such, Or the parents do their best and Islam just hasn't resonated with the children, Perhaps a combination of both, Note: Teach the basics of Islam to your children, then discover their strengths; maths or literature or sports or something else -- then do your best to guide them so that they may prosper in this life and the next, Maybe start by letting them take a few personality tests, and optimize for their strengths, I surely would've appreciated if one of my parents helped me understand who my creator is, and who I am,
