Is not Christ the ultimate expression of this whom died on the cross for our sins. When we sin God is affected by it only because He allows Himslef to be because He loves us so much. God is infinitely loving which makes Him infinitely vulnerable. Christ on the cross is the ultimate expression of what our sin deserves and also how it affects God too. That’s why another man can suffer for your sins. God does let our sins go when we ask for forgiveness because He bore with us and took on the suffering unto Himself. Kind of how when someone sins against you it doesn’t happen without some type of consequence. This act of love on the cross is the perfect expression of love and now we can truly connect with God through it beyond just and ideal. In Islam you have the choice to act merciful or not. It someone strikes you you can strike them back. In Christianity we are always called to act mercifully no matter what. “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.“(Matthew 5:38-39)

Nah dude, Islam teaches to not repay evil with evil. But every single person has choices, muslims have a choice to this teaching or not, but eventually both have their own consequences. Moreover, the concept of love seems to be different between yours and mine. I might be cherry picking, but your concept may have a loophole. Let say that there is a neighbor that abuses you everyday physically and emotionally, to the point of you wanting to die, and you are simply forced to take these abuses until you die. But they and you have the same belief, so God removes their sins for abusing you for the longest of time because they believe in God and asks for forgiveness from God only (without repenting, only asking for forgiveness), then they simply abuse you again the next day, not even asking your forgiveness at all and somehow they are going to Heaven with you. Do you think this how is it supposed to be? At least in Islam, sins towards other people can't be entirely removed unless they give us their forgiveness. Those sins can affect us in the Judgement Day, like some portions of our good deeds will be transferred to the people we abused the exact amounts we abused them.
