Well it kind of is. Maybe you just aren't aware that a Hylian shield is always available in one of the shops. And with all but Zora shop available immediately at the start of the game then yeah, it's kind of insane that he didn't find a shield for that long. Especially with the fact that there's at least one Hylian shield in the item pool outside of the shops.Plus, shields is plural in the title and he didn't find mirror shield for over three hours. TLDR: say you know nothing about rando without saying you know nothing about rando
