I remember that NYJ Hard Knocks where Joe Namath had to try and teach Mark Sanchez how to physically receive a snap. A) Neither Sanchez or the coaching staff should have ignored him and B) Sanchez should have fixed that by High School.

Lol Broadway Joe is a legend, but was also just an old drunk who they let come around the facility at that point. He was never a great QB and really shouldn’t be a HOFer. I remember the episode. Him talking about hand placement. Where Joe I believe wanted the throwing hand to the side whereas Sanchez was the standard for most underneath. It’s all just different techniques that every QB finds what they’re most comfortable w/. Joe did like Mark tho. Or at least HK made it seem like he did.

Playing QB in the NFL is very difficult. So the guys who dominated in HS, College have really achieved a lot. And if they hung around the NFL for a bit that is very impressive. Not everyone is the next Patrick Mahomes
