I must admit that finding a patent attorney looked like dating, too 😅 and it's never one size fits all, there gotta be a match 😊

Hey John, I am a 19yr old college student at Ohio State and have been watching your videos for a couple weeks as I work on finalizing my invention (a rather simple, yet novel mechanical device). I have been drafting a PPA with my mother, who is an experienced patent agent, and I think that a lot of what you say is great advice. My goal is to do exactly what you describe by pitching my patented invention to a manufacturing company with the goal of setting up a licensing agreement. Would you have any advice for me specifically? Thanks, love your videos!

Aren't comments most often deleted by KZbin itself?
@johnferrellesq.29 күн бұрын
That's a really good point! I certainly have never seen any bad words in any of my comments, at least in a language I could understand. The comments I'm most concerned about and sometimes delete is when there are words in foreign languages that Google doesn't translate. These might be really great comments, but since I can't be sure, I prefer to cut them out. Sometimes they're kooky people writing me crazy things (advice for escaping from jail, a marriage proposal or two, etc.) I'll delete those if they're just too weird. But honestly, in the many millions of views I've had on my videos. I've never had anyone offend me directly. I know there's a lot of hate on KZbin, but I haven't experienced any of it at all. I feel very fortunate for that. Thank you for watching and for your comment. I'm so grateful to have you here.

@@johnferrellesq. To be honest, I'm surprise you don't have more marriage proposals! About you adopt me as my new father? Don't say no too quickly; I'm an amazing son! Seriously, your whole personality/soul, is 10000% pure, gentle, respectful, honest, open, positive and strong. In a world of "not so clean lawyer" and "not so humble engineers", this is refreshing and heartwarming, so it's a huge contrast as well. Some might not 100% agree with you 100% of the time, but nobody feel offended by your opinion. We know you respect alternative opinions and you have no problem discussing about ideas to find the best outcome. You are an outstanding negotiator. I'm learning a lot from you, not just what you are saying... way more than that. Alex from Montréal
