Where Can I See Turtles on Oahu?

Those sea turtles travel 3,000 miles to lay their eggs,then swim back to Hawaii North Shore to rest and sun bath. It's amazing,the one female turtle had a piece of her leg bitten off by a shark,but still made the swim back to Hawaii. It was amazing!

My favorite spot was not mentioned. I swim with 5 big turtles at once. I was just at laniakea beach a few days ago. There were 2 big one swimming along the beach goers

I saw 4 big one in Laniakea beach. I really enjoyed watching it. And there were lot of tourists watching, too!

We saw turtles 4 days out of the 5 days we spent in Hau'ula. Just snorkeling on a lonely beach.

I snorkel all over O’ahu. Ali’i is a very good spot to find honu. But remember to respect them and their environment if you do. Green sea turtles (honu) are easy to find if you spend significant time in, or around the water. And they’re fun to swim with...

If you vacation in Hawaii and you plan on going to Maui, skip trying to see any during your visit to Oahu. Instead go to Ho’Okipa Beach Park on Maui during sunset and you’ll see dozens of them. Stay away from Lanikea Beach on the North Shore of Oahu. Of the hundred times I’ve passed there I’ve only seen turtles a handful of times. All you do is cause unnecessary traffic going there.
