This is a great guide for those of us who are tired of the bottom dwellers in our communities. These 10 cities are a good example of where you can move. You can, also. explore your state and find some very cool places. Where I am, I have a karaoke bar across the street from where I live and a Trader Joe's one block away. My job is a 15 minute drive. We have a few druggies but not much. I love it here.

It would be a bad idea to tell people where you live on the internet.

on the flip side, as someone who lives in a “luxury, master planned community” you have the same people, just in a different income bracket. suburban rich kids are just as ghetto as inner city kids they just do different things. in the suburbs the kids do coke, in the cities they do weed. so eh.

Tell me about it. I have two stop signs outside my building on a truncated block. I'd say conservatively that a dozen or so cars blow through both at about 60-80mph every day and night. The rest blow through at normal 20 to 30 mph over. Fast food trash discarded from vehicles fills a trash bag every day. Oh yeah. You're not buying anything under $400k either. It's the people obviously and most certainly not poverty. It's psychologically debilitating. I'm about ready to move.

You know I've noticed in a few of your videos that you were kind of mean to mappy in this one and in another one you were kind of mean to miss mappy. I've also heard that they are kind of financially irresponsible and they are living with you. But at least they don't tie up the bathroom because they probably don't even go to the bathroom. They also probably don't eat too much because they don't eat. they also probably don't take up too much space being there only two dimensional images on a screen. So I would like to kindly and respectfully request that you try to be a little nicer to them. Oh sure I enjoy an occasional comedic cut down or maybe a little comedic bantering. But please Nick try to show them a little love. I enjoy the show and they do contribute to the show.

Yeah I had the same reaction to this video! Most of his suggestions were definitely too expensive for the average person, in my opinion. Unless they're living way beyond their means or being approved for higher amounts than they should, which I do predict another crash as people are buying at way too high a cost!! His prices for median house were anywhere from 300 something to climbing towards 600k. The only people I personally know of that could really truly afford that, was a family who owned a 400k home in Granby CT and the husband is a physician's assistant or practitioner (?), the wife was a nurse administrator at Hartford hospital. Both had at least master's degree level education/higher earning type careers. I don't consider that typical nor these towns /cities recommended if the homes are this pricey. I felt like I was out with the used car salemen/"agent" proclaiming the shack is "ONLY" $240,000!!!! Yes I've experienced this. Of course New England realestate is garbage for the money.

Nick Johnson. As someone from Bellevue, Nebraska which is one of four cities just south of Omaha, and the county, south of Omaha City Limits, I have to disagree. FYI: Omaha is in Douglas County. Bellevue, Papillion, LaVista, and Gretna are in Sarpy County which is the county south of Omaha/Douglas County. Even though all 4 are part of the Omaha Metro, it is not Omaha City Limits. County line says it all. Omaha cannot annex a part of a land or another city anything in any county other than there own (Douglas County). There are only three cities left in Douglas County. Omaha. Valley. Waterloo. Even Waterloo is in jeopardy. Even though I am from the Omaha Metropolitan Area, Bellevue, NE specifically, I do not want Omaha to annex Waterloo. They annexed Millard 20+ years ago and they annexed Elkhorn in 2008. If they annex Waterloo, police would take longer to come to an emergency of any and all sorts. Omaha's cost of living may be phenomenal, which is true, but Omaha is more ghetto than you think. You'd be surprised. Even though the hospitality is actually decent, it's not as nice as you think. This city is full of fuckbuddies, douchebags, druggies, IDGAF attitudes, Favoritism, Rich privilege, and Special Treatment Alert galore. Don't get me wrong, not all Omaha born or people living on Omaha are like this but being and living in Omaha for 12 years and living in the Omaha Metropolitan Area all my life, it is a bunch of favoritism, rich privileged, and special treatment alert galore. They predominantly only care about two sports. Football and Golf. Golf because that's the only game people know how to play, whether old or young. Football because that is only sport they talk about, watch, bitch and complain, or play. Despite hosting The College World Series here. Omaha is not a baseball town. It's been a football town for generations. Anytime a sporting event is here. They may care about it but don't know crap about it or care about it at all. They only have one team here and 90% of the people care about the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Here's the funny thing. They suck and even though the fans say they got their coach because of the TIED 1997 National Championship Title with Michigan with the QB who did that job back then, he is now the leader of the whole team and he is worst head coach ever in Nebraska Football History. Look up Scott Frost if you don't believe me. 0-6 start in a season. FR0-6T. 10-19 record as Cornhuskers Head Coach in three seaons* *the season has not even finished yet. 2 games to go. I may be from Nebraska but I'm not a Husker fan.

The problem in the US is exactly what you are proposing. First, a small city becomes a boomtown, then, when it begins to be worn out, people abandon it, and then, it becomes another big ghetto with lots of poverty and violence. Detroit and so many other cities are the best examples. In civilized countries: the rich are taxed and when the city begins to be worn out, investments and refurbishing keep the city beautiful. But in the US, instead of investing, they simply refuse to contribute and leave to the cheaper place. In Europe, no one leaves cities like Copenhagen, Madrid, Vienna, Zurich. Everything works. "The trash" is your way of thinking. If you want to make the US a better place, try looking at what other countries are doing better: affordable education (through taxation) will give you less crime (you will save on policing and private prisons), free healthcare (through taxation) will give you a better workforce and a stronger economy (instead of toothless illiterate hillbillies). With less desperation, citizens will be happy and have a sense of belonging to their city, and will gladly want to keep it beautiful. And no one will want to leave.

He was (and is) rich; I was a scholarship kid. (Before I was born, God came to me and said, "What do you want to be in this life?"
