@AmericanExperiencePBS you forgot to mention that Fustat which was built adjacent to Old Cairo, Egypt was also believed to be where denim/jeans cloth originally came from.

I learned in school due to the strong weave; it was ‘serge’. Now any household can actually have a ‘serger’ sewing machine. Combine the knowledge you’ve given and I think everyone can take some credit. 👏👏👏
