@@llawliet57807 Wrong, People who first migrated out of Africa 70,000 years back long but changed in fact the oldest remnant of pre harappan ancestry i.e so called indigenous AASI component itself contains 30% Neolithic component. Hence it's now believed that these populations intermixed with indigenous AASI populations about 5000 years before formation of Indus valley On the basis of which modern studies indicate even farming was independently developed. Now coming to average IVC person genetics it's about 80% Neolithic and 20% aasi. Whereas the modern population is about 65% IVC Neolithic, 20% aasi and 15% steppe indo european. If we look at the cultural and religious practices of the Harappans, we can observe the obvious and immense influence it had upon the Vedic religion and the Indian civilization in general. The practice of worshipping Mother Goddess, the discovery of Pashupati seals and Lingas throughout IVC sites, the worship of animals and pipal trees are all still alive in the practices of Hinduism which is a syncretism of the Vedic religion and the elements of the Harappans. Pakistanis, prior to they try to appropriate the Civilisation, should realise that the roots of these practices have been weeded out in their modern nation-state whose very existence is based on an Arabic religion which considers the practices of the Indus people as ignorance.

Some historical points that the video seems to skip: 1) The history of Indus Valley started with the first migration of humans out of Africa, these were hunter gatherer people (Relic population still found in Andaman & Nicobar Islands). There remains can be found in Soan Valley, Present day Khushab, Pakistan. 2) Farmers from Elam region (Modern Iran) settled in Indus Valley, introduced Agriculture and mixed with the hunter gatherer population, giving birth to the Indus Valley Civilization. 3) Indo-Iranian tribes from central asia started to migrate to the region becoz of conflicts and climate shifts, started mixing with the Indus farmers, adopted agriculture and the religion of Hinduism was born in its present form. The caste system was introduced, encouraging people to stay within their social group and avoid further intermingling with others. Since then, there have been hardly any changes in the genetics of South Asians.

"Shared History of India and Pakistan" is not an accurate description . History of India (or Bharat) is more than 5,000 years old starting from Early Indus Valley Civilization and at its peak under Emperor Ashok Maurya (3rd Century BC aroundish) , the Mauryan Empire (Hindu[Chandragupta Maurya] to Buddhist [Ashoka Maurya]) spanned over modern day Afghanistan , Pakistan & India. This was all before Islam even existed. History of Pakistan starts from only 1947 because Pakistan is primarily just people of Indian religions who were forcefully (or not) converted into Islam & their descendants later demanding a nation of their own where Islam would be the main & (these days) only religion.

I have an idea for an ancient civilization video and the idea is prehistoric Scotland and Scotlands prehistory with ancient civilizations began during the upper Paleolithic with the hunters and gatherers however by the Neolithic famous sites were built like the knap of howar which may be the oldest preserved stone house in Northern Europe but there’s also the village of Skara Brae which is Europe’s most complete Neolithic village and these places were found on the Orkney islands however a group of Neolithic monuments was also present in the Orkney islands and these monuments which are called the Orcadian Neolithic monuments were constructed contemporaneously with the emergence of the Ancient Egyptian culture more than 500 years before the building of the great pyramid of Giza and almost a millennium before Stonehenge was erected however on the island of south Ronaldsay which is part of the Orkney islands a tomb was found and the tomb dates back to 3150 bc and inside this tomb 16,000 human bones were found as well as 725 bird bones which were predominantly from white tailed sea eagles but after the Neolithic came the bronze and iron ages and the Bronze Age included a site known as Cladh Hallan which dates from 2000 bc and at Cladh Hallan something significant was found and what was found was two mummies and these two mummies are the only ones found in the United Kingdom but by the Iron Age there were two important sites in Scotland and one is called the Broch of Mousa which is the tallest broch still standing and amongst the best-preserved prehistoric buildings in Europe and it is believed to have been constructed in 300bc however at the other site which is Blair Drummond something significant was discovered on September 28th 2009 and what was discovered were 4 gold torcs which was a type of necklace from the Iron Age was discovered and they date from 300 to 100 bc and these 4 torcs are called the Sterling hoard and the hoard has been described as the most significant discovery of Iron Age metalwork in Scotland and is said to be of international significance and the torcs were valued at £462,000 sterling pounds.

The Greek ambassador Megasthenes referred to the entire Mauryan Empire as India. The Chinese traveler Xuanzang called this cultural and civilizational region Yindu and Tainzhu. Arabs, Turks, and Persians referred to it as Al-Hind, Hindustan, and Hindisten. The Bible mentions India as Hodu. Persians labeled the people of Hindustan as Hindus, encompassing those who follow Vedic Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism, sharing similar religious and cultural practices. All these terms share the root "ind" or "hind," derived from the Sanskrit word "Sindh" or "Sindhu," which is the name of the holy river in Hinduism, recognized before the Ganges, and where the Vedas were compiled.

Don't mind the salty dudes. Just as Ukraine shares slavic history with Russia so do we with a nation which insisted on taking the name of the civilization Pakistan, bangladesh, Nepal, bhutan, Sri Lanka & Maldives are a part of as well, successors of the Indian civilization. Also the founding of Vedic scripts was thousands of years after the collapse of the Indus Valley civilization which was invaded & converted by indo aryans ironically today's Indians. This political narrative of a unified Pacifist hindu india being invaded by hostile Muslim forces is all but a faux. This history is shared by Pakistan & India as. It is neither Muslim or Hindu.

In reality, Pakistanis are essentially western Indians who were Islamized during the conquests by empires that took over parts of western and northern India. If partition had not occurred, these individuals would be considered the same as other Indian Muslims. According to genetic studies, the people of northern India and the majority of Pakistanis (excluding Balochistan and Pashtuns) are genetically very similar. The primary difference lies in the predominant religion of the majority.
