Imagine going to work for years under a contract. Your work has changed and put the company in a surplus; and you never get paid. Even all the start up money they used on you was nothing compared to the money they made off you is not debt, it's pure laziness to not acknowledge the work put in. That's assuming you were in the green before you sold anything. See they could have been in debt and someone has to pay that debt that has incurred. In the record contract, that was not technically all un Rivera 64 million. So the label which has multi millions did not believe in investing in their project. So they write off thar previous debt and get a fraction of the money back and let the artist walk. Getting royalties for those few records was for fulfilling their contractual obligation thru un, not the label
