Its so ironic that Hideki Naganuma is mostly known as "The King of Samples", it is true, but he uses it wisely.

1:53 For this sample in "Rock It On," while this is the original song, I don't think the sample was taken from the song itself. Instead, the vocals sans backing track can be found in an audio CD titled "Best Service - Voice Spectral Vol. 1," which contains a TON of audio samples. Some I recognized from JSR, but it's also the source of the infamous "Fire Temple Chanting" from Ocarina of Time, which has an interesting story behind it. It's likely that Hideki Naganuma had a ton of these CDs, and that's where the samples came from. Of course, it's also possible he just sampled it from the sources, but considering some of JSR's samples are found on just this one CD, I'd wager to guess that other CDs contain more samples used in this game. (I'd also like to point out I typed this before getting to the section on "Grace & Glory," which is one of the other samples I recognized when going through the CD)
