The samples can be heard here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z366iHujetWnqKc *Errors:* - The release year of Hot Hot Hot is 1982, not 2005. *Notes:* - It is important to note that Hideki didn't directly sample most of these tracks, and instead used various sample CDs which just included samples from these songs. However, this video aims to include every true origin of the samples Hideki used. - For songs that have Digital Remakin’ Trax versions, those versions are shown in this video. - Blazy Mixes and Groove Rushes (aside from Groove Rush #7) are excluded from this video due to not having any unique samples.

I’m more impressed by all the people that reverse engineered these songs and found ANY of the samples used lol

I know Hideki didn’t directly go out of his way to find these (iirc it was in a sample collection that had all of these compiled) but it still can’t be understated how amazing I find sampling. Recycling sound bites and being able to make highly regarded songs is so interesting to me, and knowing the sources to them only makes me appreciate what goes into how they are made even more

I'll never understand how people recognize DRUM samples of all things. Out of all this, that has to be the most surprising.
@ToweryQuipАй бұрын
To be fair, most, if not all, of the samples Hideki uses are from sample packs, so people just find the drums in a sample pack and locate the original source from there. Also, AI.

I used to watch a very old video from who knows who which displayed a bunch of Sonic Rush samples. This one isn't it, but it's far better, as it covers even more samples I never knew about.

This guy is savage - Right there ride on is literally named after two samples that he blatantly ripped and pasted on top of his song. 😂
