Omgeez! My son, my very pregnant daughter-in-law, and 18 month old grandson got caught in that snow storm in Colorado Springs. 2 feet of snow very quickly. Pretty crazy, and not conducive to an 8 month pregnant woman and a toddler trying to navigate life stuck in the car on the road. Glad y’all made it home safely. My little family did too. ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Our youngest was born during a blizzard. We could hardly see the stoplight and it was too dangerous to try to slow down (not enough time) but being the middle of the night there was no one else around so we just...carefully went through it. (Upper Midwest, by the way) I'm glad we made it and I'm glad your family made it.

I'm in Florida and going through the hurricanes was a good test of how I can get things in order. How I can cook ,how I could run my freezers and take care of what I can. There are many bad actors out there that could take out our grid .

I live in the mountains of Colorado. I stay prepped all the time. You can easily get snowed in for a couple of weeks without electricity. Always be prepared.

Prepping is just a great idea!! It’s peace of mind. It’s knowing our family won’t go hungry or freeze. It’s getting ready for whatever might or will happen. We live in earthquake country. Others, live in tornado alley or hurricane areas or flood zones…..or civil unrest areas. What part of prepping don’t people understand??? Thank you for your solid advice!!

I have a family member who was learning to be prepared, more of what's going on in our country & was beginning to take action. The day after Trump won, we were talking and she announced that she wasn't going to do anymore because now that Trump won, she knows she doesn't have to worry for four years. I see that everywhere & am quite concerned that when their bubble is popped, they will be in panic mode and many just won't have time to prepare or won't know what to do or how to get out of a city. I hope people thinking that way, somehow see the warnings already out there now and will rethink this fantasy world they insist on so hopefully more people will survive, but in talking to folks, I think way too many are not prepared correctly to make it. Glad you and the family are back!

I voted for Trump but realize things won't magically change overnight. It's taken years to get ourselves in a mess, and it will be years before we get out. A lot of herd work ahead of us. Now is not the time to slow down in our preps. Hope the roof in your new building can be taken care of.
