Where do I put my center speaker with a UST Projector?

Not one pic of how to put a center channel with an ust projector? I feel like I just wasted my time watching this

Hi Aaron- The options are fairly simple. We have furniture solutions that can contain them, you can mount some of them below the screen all depending on which UST you’re using. As well as running a phantom center channel. Give us a call if we can help further

Cmon guys, HOW (?) to mock up the wall / space / positioning to get things right? These ideas are not solutions 😢 platform shelf that sits over the speaker that could take the UST is my only idea, I have a box speaker and hisense UST… I really have no idea as to how to measure to choose the right cabinet height or position of screen. Are there any solutions or formulas out there yet?

I bought a vinyl record player stand on Amazon and it's perfect. I place the ust on top and the center ch speaker below where the turntable goes and the sides holds dvds and have doors. I'm using LG ust 120" screen with Enclave Audio wireless audio

My UST is on a 3” high stand behind my cc speaker which is on a tilt mount stand, perfect solution for me. Seems like a lot of UST’s have a Bluetooth speaker on the front. It should have a passive input to be used as a cc speaker

@Greg Bartley Thanks for answering my question Greg. Nice basement man, love the old school audio equipment. I'm considering getting a ust projector for my basement. I'm currently using sony vpl 45es. Great projector, but I'm ready to go with the laser technology. The formovie ust projector. In your opinion, what are the pros and cons from having a mounted projector to having ultra short throw? Btw,I'm from Chicago too 👍🏽

@@mr.w4904 My room has no windows so I didn’t have to replace my screen with an ambient light rejection screen. Part of the reason I went UST is the HDMI cable that was placed while my house was under construction isn’t 4K rated. Even though I went with an e shift (not true 4K) I wasn’t sure the cable was up to the task. I’d say the only difference, other than PQ over my previous 1080 pj, is I no longer hear fan noise.

Hey just wondering. I do have z650 Acer predator and jbl 5.0 soundbeam. Problem is that you cannot use two projector’s hdmi inputs at the same time. You need to pick one while screening. Obviously I have Chosen on projector’s menu an hdmi input which goes out of my computer or ps5 gaming console to watch a screen. I have connected my soundbeam to projector through Bluetooth. So a question would be is there any workarounds to make both projector’s hdmi work at the same time while putting a soundbeam and computer together into two different HDMI inputs without choosing one on menu. Thanks. Hopefully you got it a question.

I was surprised to hear him say the UST projector typically should be about 17" below the bottom of the screen. Projector on top of speaker puts the center speaker very low and less than ideal for good vocal clarity. I was hoping to find a projector that has a built-in speaker, but I guess that's asking a lot to match a good 5.1 system.

I have the klipsch 64iii center under my ust in a cabinet... But......... Angled it up to hit my ear at line of sight. It's about 10degrees up at 9ft away. So, a straight line as I sit, my ears are in direct line perpendicular to the right angles oh the speaker itself.

@@lefamiglia2392 OUTSTANDING! If my wife is cool with 5400.00 speakers, they must be nice. lol The only thing I would do different is save up another year for the LaScala...but seeing that I do both movies games and music, I truly cannot think of something better.

The UST projectors should make their built in speakers as a passive center speaker rather than a audio system. The other way is to mount UST projector from the ceiling if able to.

I Think a Sony HT-A9 with sub setup would be perfect for this with the virtual center speaker it creates.
