Oilers fan here since 79. I don't know that firing one man will fix his problem. I think this goes way deeper into how this team is managed. It shows by the length of time the same things have been happening. Not only that, the last 4 GMs they "fired" ......still work for the team‼️. Yes Peter had to go. Watch the Boston press conference from when he was fired. It's exactly the same thing. I just don't know firing him alone will fix this. This was just ripping off an old bandaid. The infection is deeper.

Where do they go? Probable Answer: Nowhere, uppermgmt. Doesn’t change and the Oilers continue to run in circles between last and a bubble team. Wishful Answer: Bob, Craig, Kevin, Scott & probably some others are all let go. A proper GM is brought in that signs good contracts, drafts good players and makes fair trades. The Oil get on a good track within a cpl years and the fans finally get to drink beer in celebration rather than frustration and anger.
