I love Welly Boots, Inkpot Gods, and Horror and The Wilds. I honestly like this band due to how dramatic their songs are. I do a lot of fantasy animation, and this gives me the perfect thing to animate to.

I can totally see why you don’t like Joey’s vocals, it does have a very similar delivery like you said to Jackman, it’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea! I myself really love the band, I’m a huge fan, and fell in love with my fiancé to them, spending long nights during quarantine learning their songs to play them myself. I love Joey and Madeline’s range, and enjoy the music and other projects they’ve worked on overall! A very unique band!

I really love the Secret Worlds song because there's just so much passion and energy in it and the beat is so awesome and the chorus absolutely slaps! I honestly think that that song is underrated. :)

My favorite songs have to be from the Horror and the Wild; Farewell Wanderlust, Unwanted Animal, and Battle Cries. But Inkpot Gods from Ruin is super close to the 3rd spot.

I was just listening to Ruin earlier today actually, and I would recommend 'The Old Witch That Sleeps and the Good Man Grace'. Very, very good, if a bit longer. Started with recs from a friend and 'That Unwanted Animal' has been my favourite up till today.

I feel like you should start with The Horror and The Wild first. Other than the first song from that album, the tone throughout each song is similar enough to know what the next song's vibe will be, the other two dives into deeper topics that might be too much for newer audience, my favorite album is Ruin though.
