I think the whole division shouldn't just be judged by their current champion alone but by the whole field of fighters that are fighting in that weight class.

I feel like you could divide the divisions into 4 groups: champ, title condenders (top 5), ranked fighters (top 15), and unranked fighters. Would be interesting to see a full breakdown of that, but as he said that would be a huge video

GSP was amazing, the way he outwrestled NCAA Div 1 wrestlers while being a stand up fighter from the very beginning. To me, that is super impressive, also I think GSP had a lot of fun fights, sure a bit dec heavy but so is Jones and other dominant champions. And also WW had a lot of stars over the years and good fighters, just had SUPERB champions many times. GSP didn't duck anyone man, he was sick even going into the fight vs Bisping, so not sure why you say GSP ducked him? He might have not been too keen about fighting him, but he also never faught again, so not sure how that warrents ducking someone? It's not even close to what Jones are doing. GSP had/haves a serious condition, and I have a similiar condition and its a big struggle. Big plus that you mentioned Bas though! ;)

Delivered one of the biggest upsets, defeated and dominated 4-1 ufc’s biggest star, fought 3 former champions before, 5-0d petr, carried Olympic gold medalist wrestler with ease and outstruck legend jose aldo… had maybe the most difficult path to championship ever in ufc. Call him boring but don’t undermine him, the guy won 13 rounds against 4 champions in 16 rounds
