Absolutely loved this video! So many things are outsourced these days that I kind of expect most makeup to be made in countries that are not where the makeup brand is actually from... so it's really refreshing to see Aussie brands that still make their makeup in Australia. Got them on my radar now! And I'd love more videos of you wearing full face of aussie makeup! Thank you for the work you put into this video, it's really appreciated. Oh btw Flavedo and Albedo is made in Italy. It's on their website in their press section.

Thanks so much for the interesting video! A couple of Australian indie brands you didn't mention are Cloudicos, Cloudchaser Cosmetics and Geologie, but I am not sure where they produce their makeup. I am pretty sure that Glaminatrix are still hand-making their singles in Aust but their palettes are being made overseas. Edit: another is Kester Black, I've only tried their nail polish but I think they do lipstick too.

I love Chi Chi cosmetics; Aussie owned, but not made. Klara cosmetics also beautiful Aussie brand but not made in Australia. Luma cosmetics is made in Australia, their range is small but lovely. Kyla skincare are fantastic, their products are the best, made in Australia. Phased skin care is made in Australia. Skin Physics is made in New Zealand and Sukin and A’kin are great brands also made in Australia. Like you, I get a bit upset when I find an Australian brand that is not made in Australia, but I understand why; it’s the price point. Companies want to sell their products at prices that will actually sell. I will still reach for Australian owned over foreign brands even if they are not solely made in Australia though. You have to be proud of where you’re from and support local companies. I love that you stay true to this and plug Australian brands. It’s a shame a lot of Australian consumers don’t have this mindset

Do you know where Innoxa (Australian) is made? I loved their hypoallergenic skincare range as a teen. Not make-up but more skincare. Alkira is owned by Sukin and uses traditional/native ingredients. I'm not sure where they are made but I love their Lilly pilly, desert lime and kangaroo paw facial masque. Australian brand lo-eme also has some Australian made products.

Thank you for this video. I have just transitioned to natural grey hair and thought it was time to update all my make up choices and start from scratch but wanted natural ingredients, cruelty free brands and wanted to support Australia. I was so shocked and surprised when I started to research and look at what brands were Australian made now (not easy to find) and were not made in the ROC and were natural, cruelty free etc. I am really grateful for the work you have put in.
@samanthaizundu3 ай бұрын

@@samanthaizundu Thank you again. It does get even harder with mature skin in your late 50's as many mineral and powder options can sit in your skin creases. I also ordered some samples of Inika foundation to try. :-)

Can’t believe that, I had a look, every Australian branded product I own is NOT made in Australia. But tbh, products sells in China are almost as expensive as in Australia nowadays (not sure what I’m trying to say here, I guess is that things are expensive now no matter wherever it is)
@samanthaizundu3 ай бұрын
That's exactly what happened to me...hence the birth of this video. I was unaware how much aussie makeup was made overseas. Manufacturing has changed so much in the last decade or two thats for sure.
