The hovering Bird of Prey was 100% Kestrel. They're the only species of bird of prey that hover like that. Awesome video, love that Black-Tailed Godwit photo! I aspire to be that good lol

Yes, we have kestrels too in Northern California, I learn to identify them by their hovering behavior..

I’m a few months late to this episode, and was hoping to visit. I’ve only been twice however I was overwhelmed by all the birds I saw. I live in Blackpool and last spring I was off work with an injury, so to relieve my boredom I spent my time wandering round Stanley Park. You may find this a good hunting ground for newly hatched chicks. I even got a great photo of a cygnet riding on her mom’s back.😊

I forgot to put titles on the last few images, I spent about 30 minutes trying to photograph the Lapwing and the Ringed Plover both of which fly around extremely fast, so trying to capture them is a challenge, but also fun, shutter speed for these few images was 4000 -sec :)

yeh there were plenty of geese and mallards, I was comparing it to a few days before, when i went with the family, it was a lot more active, even at the feeders, it was quite on this day. thanks for the sub :)
