This is still, and I am very sure my favorite Cabin Video. There is nothing phoney about how you build your Cabin. For me the Best parts are your Love of the Countryside, your close relationship with your Wife, your Daughters, how you take such good care of your dog. The best is your Honesty, and your quiet nature!!😊😊😊

I'm glad you and your wife came down to see the States. I live in the Panhandle of Texas. No trees unless planted around homes, no rivers that see water all the time, very arid country. Some snow, some ice, some negative tempertures. 3 digits all summer long, no rain in summer. Must water garden all the time and use shade cloth. If you drove on I 40 (old route 66) you came through the place going to New Mexico, Oklahoma, & Missouri. My relatives are from Mississippi and Louisiana. I always loved to go visit them because they had rain, rivers, lakes and trees. Humidity was a problem for me, something I have never been around. We have a humidifer in our home just to get moisture in the house. Hope you had a great time. I also lived in New Mexico around Albuquerque for many years and visit often, love the place. Mounains feel like home to me.

The Southern U.S,, looks like it was a great trip, I am in S.E. Michigan and we sure don`t get the snow or cold weather like we used to when I was a kid. I used my snowblower twice this year and it was never more than a couple of inches of slush, obviously no great lakes froze this year, not even Lake St. Claire, so ice fishing did not happen again, we are just starting March and we are in the 40`s and 50`s during the day, we have had 2 major thunderstorms this winter with lightning and heavy rains, it was the wettest and most rain I can remember in a winter. So glad to have you back, can`t wait to see the cabin plans for this year, and I love the rustic builds, all the best to ya.
