Merry Christmas lady. nursing is hard. I am not a nurse but as a lab tech i know that the journey of becoming a professional or skilled worker and the hope to find fulfillment from a career can be disappointing because you cant fix your life base on one achievement. just plan your next career move. I tried that and end up going back to the to my profession because financially I was not able to get a better paying job, yet looking back I think I needed and still need a change in my life and that is the issue for me. i am in my 40s and I hope my experience can be helpful. anyway merry Christmas again and I hope you find good things and good people in your life.

If I'm stuck at home I'm bored and eat more. Is Amazon delivery driver an option? My friend loads up his car, drives around dropping off packages. Guaranteed 4 hrs pay, sometimes done in 3 hrs, easy money.

I know you didn’t ask but I got a prescription for semaglutide from zip health. The low dose (0.25) is $120/month. I had my first dose almost a week ago and I don’t think about food anymore. It still tastes good but I don’t feel like I want to eat all the time anymore or like I have to finish my plate of food. And thinking about something to eat feels burdensome enough now that I don’t run downstairs and gorge myself at bedtime like I used to. Understand if you want to do things the real way but imo there’s a point where continuing to be obese is more detrimental than trying not to do things the “wrong” way. Also: don’t worry too much about being single. My sister was in a bad relationship for over 20 years (no kids), and found the love of her life at age 41. My mil was single (divorced) for like 15 years and then reconnected with her hs sweetheart when she was in her 50s. They’ve been married about 13 years now. And lots of people your age with kids start getting divorced around now because they married too young and grew apart. I would recommend joining a singles hobby type group to meet people tbh.

I do not have the funds to cover that at this time and I also don't want to take away from patients who need the medication more than I do. I'm hoping that working on my lifestyle will help me lose weight and be more mindful of what I'm eating
