Destiny 2 Season of the Wish - Where In The EDZ Is Archie? - Full Quest & Location Guide. Just a quick video showing the Archie locations for this week.
If you missed the previous Archie quests, unfortunately you will no longer be able to complete them. You can still get the shader reward, as it only requires you to complete a single week. But the quests from the prior weeks are no longer available, and you can only complete the one for the current week. This was confirmed by Bungie, as per below.
"ARCHIE QUEST INFORMATION
We've seen confusion surrounding the weekly Archie Hunt quests and wanted to offer clarification. These quests are only intended to be available for one week each and were made with this time limit in mind. We understand that this is not ideal for all players, which is why we made the shader available for one completion for any of the weekly quests. The lore attached to these triumphs will become available to all players when The Final Shape launches on June 4."

Honestly, I think it's possible after having forced my way into the Oob while doing the quest, but unless the tractor beam isn't there during this time, I haven't found where it will pull the player up yet. There is no kill wall or turn back warning in the sky behind the traveler shard, but there is one in the water area below if you go too far forward. Really hoping there's secretly a way to get to the pools before TFS.

Similar question came to my mind with Archie. I hope he wasn't an early experiment for the Exo program and was just meant as a robotic service dog, purely just AI.

Archie is a Robot - not an Exo. In Season 19 we found him originally on the Orbital Station (the Exotic Mission where we earned the Revision Zero pulse rifle) behind a locked secret door. In that same Season we learned through Lore, that Archie is a robot that was built via a secret protocol set up by Rasputin shortly before Ana had to (literally) "pull the plug" on him. It's theorizied that Rasputin created Archie as a gift to Ana, so that she would have a new companion and wouldn't feel lonely anymore. So even tho in-game Archie stays at the Tower, he's canonically Ana's dog. It's a nice detail, that plays into the Lore of the past. Basically Rasputin was originally created by Ana back in the Golden Age, because she felt lonely and a had a hard time finding a common ground with other people (oh and her grandfather, Clovis Bray, was literally a psychopath in every way possible). So she created herself a highly advanced AI, which she tought many things about humanity - and that's how Rasputin was "born."

No, each Quest is time-locked to its Week - that's why they made it so the Shader is unlocked by doing any of the Quests. Once TFS launches, the Lore we get from this will just be unlocked for everyone else either way.
