Because Atheon was the centerpoint of all the timestreams in the Vault, and it *was* destroyed, it gets defeated by every fireteam at the same time from our perspective (Time's Vengeance). But also always being defeated forever from its perspective. Kinda like Brachion or the Dreaming City's curse, I guess.

It takes you to a small area for one of the shootables for the new ship. Theres a few other KZbinrs who figured out where all the shootables are when you equip the exotic sniper. You can then go through it and wave your reticle inside the room and itll auto-lock onto a invisble shootable for the sniper/ship

In the final shape game play if you stop the trailer in the first seconds you can see perfect paradox. Maybe it’s coming back and we meet praydeth finally and he has a connection to it all. Just a theory but could be the area we see in final shape that looks like first collapse area. Really cool if you ask me

@@Dreadnotus Almost seems to be two ways, but the one I know is to walk into the blight area, when you walk out you have a buff for 5 seconds that allows you to damage the main blight. Keep doing that until the boss shows up.

I think on nemuna/neptune there’s some of these areas that look like the 2nd portal image and would make sense as the vex do travel there often, the dark future on mercury also had this purple tint, and maybe it could be the ascendant plane

The new vex portal looks similar to the room unlocked at the end of the Wishkeeper mission to me, maybe someone should go do some digging into that mission to see if anything has changed.

The fastest way I have found to make the blight public event is to use xenophage. Oh, and the ability to grab from your vault as a fireteam leader was originally a bug that was removed during the dawning but when bungie saw how popular it waa, they reverted the change and started worling on getting the bug implemented as a feature for after the final shape launched. They have allowed fireteam leaders to pull from the vault sunce either late January or early February. I thought this was well known since it was in the twid and the patch notes.

This explains why the oracles are in the whisper mission, also can confirm now, that new image is the black garden, took a look at it and it has plateaus and the river of radiolaria running between them in the centerjust like the black garden in the distance does. But the begs the question, why the vault of glass and then the black garden? What are the vex planning and isbit connected to the future of D2 after FS?

I also noticed the portal thing on Tuesday The thing with the vault is not a bug, when vault in orbit was added it was also possible, then Bungie fixed it (removed it) and then they put it back into the game and said that they are working on a way to open the Vault anywhere at any time

YOURE basically in a stone and Vex construct area and there’s only ONE rock that you can see THROUGH the portal AND is glowing red AND when the reticle hovered over it for that second the reticle turned red just like when you aim at an enemy. That’s not just a rock. But it could just be a bug

@@Lucky_Logan can confirm that the reticle changing to red is the place of one of the next oracles at the place where the portal is, and the red lit rock is like that so you know how to return to the mission because you can't get back the way you came to the portal. I used that rock to get to the weakly lit platforms that return you to the normal mission path.

The vault access option from anywhere if you are host, has been a thing for a pretty long time now.. I think for as long as you have been able to access the vault from orbit, whenever that started.

I explored first and I saw the portal as something different. My friends didn't believe me, but I knew something was different. Almost looks like a hallway in the Vex network in a pyramid environment. Thinking about it reminds me of season of the splicer. It would be interesting to see if we get a dungeon or raid that takes place in the vex net.

EVAZE! Idk if you or anyone knows what Im talking about but I believe this could be io. In the PYRAMIDION STRIKE on io there was a a secret room I used to glitch into that had 2 VEX PORTALS. One was fully activated the other looked like it was semi activated but neither of them would teleport you anywhere. it was never used for anything and looked like it was dormant for future content. Also in the area before you jump down to the boss encounter if you just go around to the back side of the map theres an entire area that resembles the vault of glass I used have screen shots of it all on my old PS4. Now it doesnt look like the area shown in the portal from the new Whisper mission but that could be where it leads. They are both Vex portals and to me all of that really seemed like it was meant for something later on in the game

This shot is almost similar to what the image looked like on the Vex Portal at "The Whisper" Exotic Mission. Just for clarification, as you mentioned Bungie updated "The Whisper with some new secrets and they also changed the portal texture from Vault of Glass to something different. And I believe it was (As revealed in the trailer link shown above) a PEEK into the PALE HEART. Another crazy theory to think honestly, previously the portal showed Vault of Glass (Raid)...
