Its not a surprise. Probably a result of Mike dean not working on a ye album for the first time ever but the layers of the songs sound completely limited, some of the Kanye verses were clearly ad-libbed and were underwritten and features like lil baby on everybody were clearly unfinished and underwhelming and probably won’t make the Final cut of the album. It’s frustrating because if I watch the listening party with the expectation that it really is in its beta stages then I could get behind it so much more. The fact that Kanye on the preview also didn’t have the Charlie Wilson vocals on everybody yet also makes me believe a lot more changes will happen until it comes out
