Careful not to rub that label with sweaty hands. I wiped most of the ink off the label trying to wipe off the grim with my fingers. After some guessing what the digits could be I was able to trigger the locks and log the code.

Hello Vince i dont know if u ever had the problem with the gear shift like i am right now, in the morning since the car is off overnight the next morning when i go in the gear shift works normal but then after a while when the car gets hot i dont know what happens but my gear shift gets stuck on park and the rubber in the gear shift gets crinkled then i use one hand to hold the gear and the other finger to try to flat the crinkle part until the gear shift slides to drive and sometimes my gear shift shows mini lights when u go from park to drive everyone shift has a light beside it so its off and then after a while it comes on but its not red its like yellow orange and long time ago it was red and sometimes when it gets stuck it shows clear. Another thing, which power steering fluid should i use because when i turn my steering wheel it has a whining noise and someone that i asked about it randomly happened to have some power steering fluid and he put me some but then i noticed ever since then my gear shift has been doing this, not exactly the same day but after like a week and then i noticed a leakage and it looks like the color of the power steering like a red color, i dont have money to fix it now im trying to take care of other things i have going on so im planning to get some power steering fluid to stop the noise until am able to afford to fix it cause i dont know what the problem is, this car is a good car but the spark plug is always a problem and right now my ac is not working someone put gas and 3 days after the ac stop working and im in florida in the heat have no idea what am going through PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPP ):

Thanks, waiting for the car to come back from shop for oil pan, water pump and rack and pinion. Hopefully the car is worth it in the long run. Lol. Gonna try and fix this code asap. Thanks!

They usually provide a card, but if the previous owner lost or kept the card this is how you find it.

They can hook up a machine but will likely charge you $75 to $100. Or if you have a wratchet and socket you can get it for free. Not really that hard. You can do it!

@@tonyangelodavis1805 it was possibly changed by the privious owner. Look for the video on how to reset it

You cannot erase the factory code. Either the pad is broke or someone changed out the body control module. You can test the pad. Make sure you have your keys out of the car. At the same time press the 7-8 and 9-0 button. That should lock your doors. If it does not then your pad is broken. Maybe check fuses? If it Locks then maybe the body Control module was changed out or you are looking at the wrong numbers
