My son and his girlfriend have been in Tenerife since Saturday and have visited quite a few of the places you have previously recommended - Zambra sky bar at GF Victoria, the Ambient Lounge, and Vegas Grill to name a few. They have done loads of exploring and really don’t mind about the weather - they are having a great time! I have literally just ordered them a round of drinks at The Vault 🤣

Always Sunnier in Playa de las Americas than Costa Adeje. I believe this is due to its proximity of the mountains. Costa Adeje usually covered in cloud. 👍

Hello. Tenerife is often known in Spain as "Miniature Continent" precisely because of the number of microclimates and landscapes so varied that it has. You can find from leafy humid and rainy forests, to desert areas to the south. You can climb the mountains and be in sub-zero temperatures surrounded by snow and in just an hour be bathing on a beach at 25°C. It is the island with the highest concentration of climates and landscapes other than the Canary Islands. This is due to the altitude, the trade winds and the different orientations of the island. This is very noticeable in winter because the higher you go the temperature drops so you can be near the sea with sun and a comfortable temperature and then take the car and go up to a town or city located in the interior of the island at 500 above sea level and encounter cold temperatures and even rain. It is a luxury to live here. The bad thing is climate change that increasingly disrupts the climate. Greetings.

A dog rescue, where you can walk a dog or two? AMAZING! We will be on the island for 16 nights and will miss our 3 fluffy kids a lot, so that will be a perfect suggestion to do once or twice!!

Great explanation of the Microclimate of the island. My hubby explained it to me years ago so I never worry about the cloud because it usually doesn't last long. We've watched those webcams for years to get our Tenerife fix, obviously long before we discovered you, and that's a great suggestion to help decide where to go for the sun. Our 'cloudy day' go to is to catch the bus (or hire a car from you in the future) to Los Gigantes for lunch. You get to see more of the island and then lunch and a wander is enough time in Los Gigantes. Thanks for the tips.
