Also R may not be canon, but that could be because it’s an offshoot of the mystery of what happened to pegasus. R Is pegasus died and gx is Pegasus survived some way at duelist kingdom

Sadly Arc-V isn't the current manga lol. The current manga is about deck building and it even calls the game Yugioh! Plus I don't think you pointed out the fact the mangas have COMPLETELY different storylines than the anime.Though the creator of the series had alot more influence on 5Ds for example he was the one who designed Stardust Dragon. Nice video like always though!

Here in Mexico it was very popular too, they changed the name to "Super Campeones" (Super champions(?)) Tsubasa name was changed to Oliver Atom, and the dub was hilariously funny, in the first episodes they even said that Oliver (Tsubasa) was saved by the virgin of guadalupe xD

The GX manga and classic season 0 are my absolute favorite. The dark side of the classic is just so crazy and wild, and the GX has an amazing plot, really love the Chazz part with his LAD, and the backstory of Jaden having a teacher like person. Love it. Everyone's decks are so much better too. I mean EVERYONE.

I really enjoyed picking up the arc V manga's as they were released while I lived in Japan. Since they're made for a younger audience the Kanji had the hiragana next to them. So it was a fun way to learn more kanji writings as I read them.

That card is Red Blossoms of Underroot or Blood Blossoms from Afterlife. Blood Blossoms is part of the Ghost Sisters archetype. What it does is this: Banish 1 spell/trap from each GY to special summon it. You can tribute it to banish 1 type of extra deck monster in either GY so you can special summon 1 extra deck monster from your GY. But it has to be a different type. So let’s say that there’s an XYZ monster in the opponent’s GY and you have a Synchro monster in your GY. You can tribute Blood Blossoms to banish the XYZ monster and special summon your Synchro monster.

Extreme game isnt a new expansion, its actually a Battle Spirits show (not like an anime, but an actual show) where teams of 3 have to beat 3 Guardians (each member fighting 1 Guardian) and take on the king to win 1 mil yen, they also do card reveals at the end of the show

read 3 out of 5 volumes on it, so maybe i'm no authority on it, but it really wasn't all that good to me so far. it has it's perks as another arc of yugioh i guess, but ultimately it just felt like a bland filler arc. yugi, kaiba and joey are in it just to duel and don't seem to have any character arcs, the villain is basically just duke devlin, if he played duel monsters, the plot has been paper thin and written like a low-plot video game, where it's all about beating different bosses, plus the idea of wicked gods just seems uninspired. don't get me wrong, i had some fun reading it so far, but critically there just wasn't much to latch onto for me

the deportist guy it is tsubasa osora, from captain tsubasa, it is like the one of the best animes of soccer (futbol in the rest of the world) and also a great anime, in 2018 started a remake made from the guys who make jojo's BA in the anime yugioh is in the V.Rains series who uses link monsters and VR battles. that card game with girls seems interesthing, there was some anime of TCG that were like a darker madoka magica.

I'm not sure if you can call it a Shonen Jump version. It was published monthly, but because the individual series were starting to get really popular (Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh), it seems it was stopped so the series could release at a faster pace as individual volumes. I enjoyed that format greatly though, it's a shame it couldn't be retained.

I'm half Japanese that grew up both in Japan and the United States. I used to buy various Japanese Manga magazines religiously. There are other weekly magazines like Shonen Jump and several other monthly Jump magazine; however, I never viewed V-Jump as a monthly Manga magazine but rather a magazine about the latest news pertaining to various Shuueisha (company that ownes Jump) related products. This is why there r soo many "ads" or news on various upcoming games/products. If u read any other weekly or monthly Jump magazines such as Super Jump, Young Jump, etc., you'll see there aren't nearly as many "ads" as in V-Jump. Just wanted to clearify that not all weekly or monthly magazines r like this (´>∀

The dragon quest joker series is kinda a game of it's own it branches off from the main game, but it is very good try playing one of the games on the ds I have played both of the one's in English the 3rd is still in Japanese. I have beaten the first one and on the endgame on the 2nd one, but get prepared to spend over 60 hours on it
