The possibility of living and having pups in any map would actually be so exciting! Because not only is it not the same gameplay over and over again, but you can decide which wolf gets to live what life and where! Which would make every wolf you play unique with how you style their life. But of course that requires even more work. No matter what comes next, I will always support you guys because of the notable passion that you put into this game!

I know! Dave and them REALLY spoil us! I think it will make gameplay more interesting because your ospring can leave or stay, they all have personality so seeing your favorite pup leave and not take care of the pups would be sad but make if more interesting!

I usually make wolves have prefered territories already...For instance, a wolf who was around their parents a lot as a pup comes back to the same territory, a wolf who enjoyed swimming lives by the lake or river...but imagine all the NEW possibilities we'll get! We really are spoiled 😅. And to think back to, for instance, wolfquest 2.5...wolfquet really has come such a long way

The Wolfquest Saga sounds amazing and is the perfect fit for the game. I remember getting 2.5 WQ back when I was 11 and being amazed at what was in the game back then, now I simply feel spoiled by all this amazing new gameplay. This game has always held a special place in my heart and I’ve always looked back on it with love. I am now 20 and I feel that same old rush of excitement with all the new content as I did when 2.7 came out with all of its updates back when I was 14/15. This game has aged so well and the developers behind it are the best I’ve seen out of every Indie/Triple A game company I’ve been a player of. You guys have done amazing work and truly care about your game, it’s player base and helping people understand wolves for what they truly are. I think everyone in the community can agree with me when I say we are all extremely proud of Wolfquest, the people behind it and how far it has come.

yea its amazing what this team has done. this is indie game dev done right. I just got back into playing the game (if im being honest i hadnt played AE very much since it was released, even though i played hundreds of hours of 2.5/7) and im just blown away with the attention to detail and passion put into this project. Honestly all this feels too good to be true from my experiences with other early access games, but i actually believe they will do what they are planning because they have delivered on pretty much everything so far. These guys are truly paving the way for the Animal Survival Sim genre.

Wait, so if I understood correctly-So Tower Fall the _map_ will be purchased content. But Tower Fall's original concept, the continuation of your wolf's story, will just...keep on going WHEREVER you decide to live? All stages can be played on any map you want? This game means so much to me, I literally grew up the game. I remember when I found the first game, I must've been like 7 years old on my crappy laptop, and I was absolutely RAVING to my cousin about how "realistic" it was, we both adored wolves and everything to do with them. If only 7 year old me knew what was to come!! The wolfquest team is my favorite team/game developer I've ever seen, no other group of people have added this amount of passion and detail into a game. I started playing WolfQuest over a decade ago now, and I continue to be absolutely slack-jawed by how far the game has come thanks to the dev team. I remember wishing so badly that there was content past the old rendezvous site and I always thought it would be so fun to play alongside full-grown pups, so hearing that you guys have even *more* planned after Tower Fall feels like a childhood dream come true! The idea of a lack of map constraints is also insanely cool (Slough Creek no longer defined by pup-raising? Illegal!) You guys never fail to amaze me, keep being awesome!

I feel like the people at WolfQuest are putting in a lot more effort than a lot of games, I don’t mean that for every game, but I feel like if some other group had made this, they wouldn’t be trying to make it better like WolfQuest has done. This game already has so much more to it than most games I have played, and the people at WolfQuest are still working hard to make it better for everyone!! I can’t wait to buy tower falls, and I am BEYOND excited you’ll get to have a whole npc pack. There’s so many possibilities to improve the game that comes with that, like how you’ll interact with everyone and how much harder the game will get depending on your pack size (like in multiplayer, where, for example, there are more stranger wolves during den attacks), how you’ll decide who goes where like how you can send your mate home or bring them with you… I’ll certainly be staying tuned for any and all future updates and will definitely be buying anything I can get my hands on within reason!

No, currently you will still start as a two year old dispersal. But you can as play your pups as adult via the Family Tree.

@@Woodlouse29 I don't know if you've watched the video or any of the videos but you only need to pay for the entire game once (yes this includes pups) there is a DLC that has 15 more pelts you can buy, but its not very expensive, and there are already many amazing pelts that are free. As mentioned in the video Tower Fall will be DLC but you can play the Saga (when they release it) with only the one purchase. :)

Ive been a part of this journey for as long as i can remember, ive had the first version and its only getting better. It was my first actual game that really made me so immensely happy, wolves are like my special interest i would educate myself on them buy books about them, this game has been an amazing motivational way for this interest of mine to not only be combined with gaming but also have a different way of getting into it. I am so sad I can’t afford a laptop/pc that can play it. Ive already bought it and have it on steam waiting for me when i get a new one! I absolutely cannot wait! Fantastic! Some suggestions: You could put fish in the game for the wolves to hunt. Or add snakes, honey badgers and other things to complicate or force the wolf to fight or flee from its den. Or maybe stealing or fighting coyotes, foxes or other wolves for their dens.

The gameplay possibilities that Tower Fall will add feel phenomenally endless. I'm a little emotional at the idea of being able to truly explore Yellowstone with my very own pack. When I first started playing WolfQuest in 2008, I had no idea how big of an effect this game would have on my life. I now regularly visit Yellowstone to go wolf watching in Lamar Valley and Slough Creek, and I am awed by how similar the game looks compared to real life. It's spectacular. WolfQuest beautifully combines art and education and I am so excited to see what comes next.

I'm so excited! I love qold quest do much and I had always imagined that the game could've become so big and have such amazing gameplay, it felt like more of a dream. I anticipate the release eagerly and will certainly be buying any DLC that comes out aswell as recommending it to my friends

This is amazing news! Definitely going to purchase when it comes out. I used to play so much 2014-2017 and was amazed by the game at that time. I just recently got back on and am amazed by how the game has come along. I am sure that almost every Wolf Quest user would agree that this would be amazing. Especially because you would be able to grow your pups even more and we would be able to go through the entire life of our wolf if we would like to. Thank you Wolf Quest team!

I have been loving this game with all my heart since 2008. I have bought the game for many friends and have bought the DLC and soundtrack in support of the team & what they do. I got chills with this video! Being able to see Amethyst Mountain in June, like I have with my own eyes, is going to be a magical experience. Tower Falls, too! It will be stunning. This is still my favorite game even after all these years. I will definitely be buying all the DLC released in support of the team. Thank you all for everything you all do!

Honestly, from what it sounds like, it would totally be justifiable for the devs to charge a bit more for the game, at least when it's finished. IMO, the game is pretty cheap for what it is right now, and it is absolutely amazing that they give people who bought 2.7 Anniversary for free.

This is such exciting news! I would’ve never expected such a big overhaul and change like this to ever be planned, but thinking about it now-it’s brilliant! But just focusing back in on Tower Fall’s episode, I am really curious to see how the level will work with the new (assuming still) rendezvous sites to choose from and the pups learning to hunt. I’m sure it’ll definitely be intense and dangerous, probably even more so than the previous parts of the pups’ lives. So playing through that and teaching them as they grow into a more active role in the pack is sure to be something interesting.. Looking forward to seeing how those mechanics pan out.

As someone whos been playing since 2008, it's amazing to see how far this game has come. Even now, it still continues to evolve and grow- I'm so hyped for the future plans and ideas for this game! Singleplayer now drives more attention to it, and is very fun to play over and over- it has definitely evolved the most to see all the possibilities of what can come in gameplay. ToT I love this game soo much! Can't wait to play even more!

I’m absolutely ecstatic! having help from the previous litter to raise new pups is so gratifying. It will fill a very real hole in the gameplay: right now it feels pointless (I don’t care much about achievements) to play past one or two litters with a single wolf. Expanded time with old pups as adults gives massive story potential. A huge part of the WQ community is role play (even though the game is supposed to be realistic) and interacting with your adult pups gives role players more content to work with.

Woohoo! Im praying we get that update in 2022, but it is a bit work heh... I find it hella cool that we will be able to explore various maps and have a full pack, makes it more realistic rather than 2 wolves hunting for all the pups, and themself. And Wolf packs do travel quite a bit, and don't all grow up in the same area. SO the idea of being able to choose different kind of maps is amazinggg
