Prompted by a conversation with a young fellow selling modular synths in a music store who had never heard of this great band I had to enlighten him (and hopefully you too)

Pere Ubu's Dub Housing is still one of my favorite records. In the 90s I met Tony Maimone in New York and complimented him on his bass riffing on "I, Will Wait".

I'll have to dig up Cloudland, as I don't know that one. I usually start people with Terminal Tower.

Rocket from the Tombs was the precursor to Pere Ubu. Rocket from the Crypt is a much later punk band from San Diego. Crocus Behemoth is not to be confused with the founder of the Wendy's restaurant chain.

Surely you start HERE!!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2eTmaebn6iAr9ksi=fu3-MiNZAg0ZCqm2 This totally works...and, makes sense But, in all seriousness, gotta start with The Modern Dance...or, for someone completely clueless about PERE UBU, who is keen on a more diverse and, multi-era intro, maybe Terminal Tower? Cheers, Sir
