Master some part for the case for Christ and be ready to talk about it with passion. Much like most people towards sports. What a great call to action!

So thankful for your ministry! Your hunger for the truth caused me to finally get off the Spiritual Couch and start reading the Bible through. It's no where near where you are in apologetics but I wasn't even getting familiar with God's Word.

I have to confess that I'm a lazy Christian. Thanks for this wake up call.

We all fall short. Only one was perfect. Jesus Christ. However we are called to serve the word of God. So we must fight the temptation of sin. Spread the love of our faith. Lean on the Lord. We got this. May God bless us all.

@@georgewagner7787That’s true but God’s will won’t be thwarted by man’s inaction. He send fish to swallow up messengers and spit them out on a beach to make sure His will is accomplished. The thing is, God WANTS us to work with Him in this. He doesn’t NEED us to do this work. He delivered His own evangelistic message to Paul. He comforted and strengthened Elijah in the mountains with ravens not people. God wants us to have hearts like Him that desire the same things He does and speaking to non-believers is part of that process. I miss a lot of opportunities but I’m pretty sure it’s less and less over my life.

Brilliant! Whether rational, emotional or volitional, these all focus on an inward high view of man instead of an outward (Scriptural special revelation) high view of GOD. Ah, the words of our LORD ring loudly with eternal relevance - “Repent and believe the Gospel” Mark 1:15.

Of course, I am a hypocrite! I am a holy priest of God. Bought by His blood. Blameless in His sight. Yet, I sin.

People hold expectations of followers of Jesus to be perfect for some reason. If we were perfect we wouldn't need Jesus!

Being a follower of JESUS means we believe the Gospel. That means we are dead to sin and alive in CHRIST. The Bible is clear, one in CHRIST does not continue in sin.

There may be many non-Christians uninterested in conservative Christianity but more than willing to become progressive Christians as it addresses the prevalent issues of the day in an academically defensible manner.

Conservative Christians as in Christians who honor the inerrant Word of God? I get what you're saying, however. A nominal Christian who approves of your sins is far more likely to make you FEEL better.

Also, what specific issues are you referring to that are not "academically defensible" in scripture or orthodox (small "o") Christianity? Please name one.

Lol, well OF COURSE they're more interested in "progressive" Christianity - it allows them to keep doing whatever they feel like doing, whereas true Christianity requires an effort of self-denial and change. Progressive Christianity supports the very problem Wallace mentions in the video - refusing to let your own autonomy take a back seat to God's will.
