This brings back so many memories. We used to vacation in Ft. Lauderdale back in the 1980's and would always stay at the Howard Johnson's (remember the orange roofs) right on the beach that you can see in the opening scenes when they first arrive in the city. In 1984 I was ten years old and a friend and I convinced my mom to rent the movie on VHS at our local mom n pops video store. Luckily my mom saw it was a comedy and didn't notice it was rated R. Ha Ha. I don't know why this movie did so poorly at the box office and wasn't a rental success as it is one of my all time favorite movies from my childhood years. I looked and looked for it on DVD back in the 1990's with no success. Fast forward to about 2011 and I happened to go into a video store that was going out of business ad there sat a VHS copy of the movie for $2.00 The quality of the tape isn't the best but I still watch it at least once or twice per year on an old VCR I still have down in my basement. It is nice to see others enjoyed the film and this scene as much as I did.

So sad that the actor who portrayed Camden passed away a few years ago. Great updated version of the original film of the 60's. Wish they would put oit on DVD and re-release the soundtrack which I have on cassette.
