Daisy had me in Normal People. What a phenomenal actor. Paul was lauded more but Daisy's Marrianne character was so complex in the movie and the book and Daisy nailed it. I think it was harder to play Marianne than Connell. I love Paul,as well. but her talents were overlooked for much too long. She finally is having her day (year) to shine. Over the last three years, I've come to admire and respect Daisy so very much. She's lovely inside and out (lovely seems to be the most popular comment) and from her words and deeds, you know she's a kind and giving young woman. I've never heard her say a bad thing about anyone. And all her costars can't say enough good things about her. She's a true star and already so beloved. She will go far.

I think it’s wonderful that we’ve not heard her say anything bad about anyone, I think that’s all we can hope for for ourselves and those we surround ourselves with. but it made me think about that if she did have something bad to say about someone who was genuinely bad then more power to her. not saying you were implying that at all, this just came to mind after i read that part. I feel like women often get put in a box, that they’re good, and aren’t allowed to be disagreeable, even if they’re standing up for themselves

Such a lovely, talented young actress. I discovered her while watching "Where the Crawdads Sing" a few months ago. Then I finally had a chance to binge-watch "Normal People" this past week and also saw her in "Twisters." She's an extraordinary actor and can pull off all these different accents in a very realistic and convincing way. I'm in awe of this young woman. I wish her all the Best and Success and Joy in her Life. It would be great to bump into her someday at a film festival here in Canada or elsewhere. Big hug to you, Daisy!

I am obsessed with Where The Crawdads Sing. I have watched at least 50 times and still feels like the fist time. The simplicity and primitive live out there in the marsh and how she played so naturally was absolutely art of act. The same goes for Taylor John, both are absolutely amazing actors. My wife things that there is something wrong with me because I watched the movie so many times. My 27 year old son loves it as well, he watched with me almost every single time. Absolutely best move made. What makes me still love that movie is that all the actors are very humble and down to earth outside of acting, I hope all of them will stay that way, that is huge part of been either liked or disliked.

It is the same as a crawfish but here in British Columbia most call them a crayfish. I used to pull them out of streams with a stick. They're very territorial and if you poke and taunt them enough, they'll grab on and pull them out 😊. You definitely have to come to British Columbia, in peticular Vancouver Island, it's gorgeous. You'll love it, Daisy. A nice horse back ride can be had is at Alpine stables if that's something you'd like to do. I really enjoyed where the crawdads sing, especially the ending 😆. #DaisyEdgarJones could narrate my life, she has such a soothing way of speaking. I was also shocked that Daisy Edgar Jones and Paul Mescal sang with Andrew Scott and it had been cut out in the American version. I would pay for their version of Baby Can I Hold You Tonight- it was SO GOOD! Lastly, it still doesn’t make sense that Connell and Marianne would breakup because he had to go to school abroad. At the very least they would maintain the friendship they had always worked hard to protect. Their friendship survived their 2 previous breakups, Connell keeping Marianne a secret, Marianne’s dark year time in Sweden, and Connell’s depression but they would lose contact when he goes to study away for a year? I just don’t see why they would stop being friends.
