These are some of the things that make our country so special and amazing. The hospitality and scenery especially. Yet another fantastic video.

hrsniperguy it was a really great experience mate. The pilot, Ian Fargher, was extremely knowledgeable and really knew the place like the back of his hand.

@@OverlandTravellers Hello again I'm from England can I ask what drone you use when I walked towards Birdsville I met a sound chap named Dusty who use to run the bakery he introduced me to camel pie his own invention as he called it , he also took some drone footage of me walking along the Birdsville and walking into town so any recommendations would be appreciated please remember weight is important and size I was followed by a pack of dingos on the Birdsville that got closer and closer each night they were getting braver I tell you not a tree in sight nothing to climb pardon me for rambling on bren

Brendan Ensor I bet you have lots of interesting stories like that. I use a mavic pro but you’d be best with a spark or a mavic air, both are really small.

They did a couple of episodes of that God awful Home and Away at the pub this year. In a previous life I escorted oversize loads and stopped at the pub overnight. This was back in the 90s and they had a prehistoric solar power setup that would only work in the day, meaning that it closed at sundown. It was on the way to Leigh Creek, a stinking hot night of high 20s and a pub with no power. Good to see it’s changed.

Classics Customs and Hot Rods of Perth ha sounds like a real classic outback pub experience. The main question is though.... was the beer cold?
@classicscustomsandhotrodso6005 жыл бұрын
We got there at sundown and I prefer spirits. There is a reason why they call beer piss.

Your videos have such a good quality. May I ask what camera and drone you are using ? ;)
@GSL.Adventures5 жыл бұрын
Quality videos you are putting out there, thanks! Your drone, tripod and slow motion stuff looks super smooth but your hand held vlog style stuff is quite shaky. Personally I would love see a bit more stabilisation used on that particular part of the footage in the edit. 👍 👍

Great Southern Land Adventures one step ahead of you buddy we have a DJI ronin s on the way
@GSL.Adventures5 жыл бұрын
Overland Travellers that’s going to be a bulky vlog setup but I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
@OverlandTravellers5 жыл бұрын
Great Southern Land Adventures Yeah really excited to get some more cinematic footage. Problem is we have about a months worth of footage to edit before we hit the stuff with the ronin. I’ll see how I go with holding it out and talking.
@GSL.Adventures5 жыл бұрын
Overland Travellers so you’re not using stabilisation in editing?
@OverlandTravellers5 жыл бұрын
Great Southern Land Adventures on some shots we will use a warp stabilizer but if the footage is really shaky it can make it look worse. Besides that don’t really have many options.

@OverlandTravellers5 жыл бұрын
Cayden Maritz we don’t! Usually..... we did work at that pub for a few weeks which was good. But we saved enough money to do the whole trip before we left :)
