AFRICAN TIGRESS

Жыл бұрын

Of all the world's housing crises, Hong Kong's may be the most formidable. The city of 7.3 million leads the world in housing prices and inequality, with 125,100 millionaires and 1.6 million people living in poverty. Home prices have rocketed by 187% over the last decade.
The Monster Building is a group of five connected buildings on King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. It is a famous location for photography and used as inspiration for several filming locations. movies such as transformers has been acted here .

This is so disheartening but it's good to see such. It makes you appreciate what you have. There is a serious affordable housing crisis in most, if not all the Major cities in the First World. They don't like to show it but it's a ticking timebomb, especially for those countries with an aging population. Great video Tigress. We need to see such, especially us Africans.

This answers your question when you first arrived you were asking why they are so many old people on the streets and parks , I think the old who no longer work are pushed into these koffin houses but rather than spend the day inside they would rather spend it on the streets or on parks I really do feel for them this shows how much a diamond africa still is and we africans we do not see it ,thanks for showing us this but please keep safe at least have a native hong kongyian to take you around we value you very much Tigress

Worked there in HK for 14 years,it’s a beautiful country,I think the place you showed is in North Point.rents are skyrocket, many retirees can’t afford decent place to leave and some of their apartments provided by the government is so cramp.

Singapore is way way much better than Hongkong. You'll never see those rundown / dilapidated housing buildings or see people living like dogs in the cage. The government keeps on upgrading their housing buildings.

Tragic. And this is what certain people in Zimbabwe want to develop. People living on top of each without the space to even stretch their legs let alone to keep their own garden and maintain normal neighbourly relations. This is what greedy property developers and corrupt politicians will push the country to if we let them get away with it.

Do people think that Chinese and Indians would be overpopulating other people's countries if their own homes were good? People move from scarcity to abundance, from despair to hope. I am glad vloggers are educating people on the realities out there. Although one would have thought commonsense should tell someone that if people are leaving their homes in great numbers their home has to be seriously deficient.
