Yes sweet and fragile while he was her murderer. That is what the song was about...murder. I don't think I would classify that part of the song as determined and strong..more like obsessive and weak. This is the way the song was sung and there's nothing beautiful about that story.

This is genius in the same way that the book Lolita is. The song is portraiting murder as something beautiful, plus these two singers have the perfect voices and looks to not only sing the song flawlessly, but also to make it artistic in a cinematic way - he is older and charismatic, just staring at 16 years old girl with such a predatory lust in his eyes. But the melody and lyrics is making you sympathize with the man, although you know it's wrong. I might be getting just a little too obsessed with this performance, it makes me want to watch it over and over again. I want a studio version of this.

I think they sang & acted it out so well. I looked up Nick Cave who had sang this song on an album. This couple on the German Voice did a much better job of singing it. I too saved this song to listen to & love watching them sorta act song out. The way she leans against him at the end is powerful.

Wunderschöne Stimmen und auch schauspielerisch herausragend. Nur zu schade, dass das Lied so stark gekürzt wurde. Eine Strophe fehlt komplett (der 2. Tag) und von dem männlichen Teil der letzten Strophe fehlt auch die Hälfte. Der zusätzliche Refrain hätte auch noch Möglichkeiten geboten, die Stimmverteilung etwas zu variieren. Außerdem hätte ich eben gerne das ganze Lied in dieser schönen Version gehört.
