Thank you, Chris. This was very interesting. I knew Sus chords, but your perspective was new for me and helped me to use them a lot better.

Man your videos are kind of unique. First time i hear prepared dissonance. That’s a very powerful concept!

Hey Chris, what a great explanation! The way you show on how to use these concepts is very helpful. Now it is time to review some of my old songs and polish the arrangement. Thank you very much...

Hi Chris, well that's a new one for my musical lexicon - "Prepared DIssonance"... and as usual, you explain it so well, and as is often the case with your videos - they validate what I've been doing (and questioning my musical sanity over) and provide further ideas. One thing I like to do is let a sus chord hang in the air for a bit - e.g. Csus4 with the 7th (in Mixolydian mode, this is Bb). Then resolve to the major 3rd and listen how the 7th now becomes the focus. I think this kind of thing was used to great effect using sparse piano in Talk Talk's classic 'Spirit of Eden'. Appreciate though that this is not the 'prepared dissonance' you were describing.

This is fantastic. I never understood what prepared dissonance meant, but now not only do I see how it works, the example you played with the melodic arrangement was extremely beautiful. I'm going to experiment with this technique!

Master, do you have any product for sale? I'm in the beginning of my piano journey, and I love your short videos of arpeggios. It's 100% what I want to play. Thanks for sharing.
